I have a problem with nutsedge ever couple of years. This is the second time I've purchased this in the last few years. It's easy to add to the sprayer since it's all weighed out. The sedge is cleared up in a few days.

Great product. Really puts the hammer down on the sedges.

It does kill the nutsedge but it will come back. Had to treat three times to get it under control. Best thing is it doesn’t hurt the grass at all (centipede or St Augustine I have both in my yard). Hopefully it doesn’t come back again.

This finally killed the nut grass. Nut sedge whatever. Nothing else would and pulling it doesn’t work. Good weed killer for nut grass

My neighbor, a former lawn specialist, recommended this and it worked exceptionally well. While all neighbors around us have random sprouts of sedge 5 times taller than lawn, ours is nice and consistent. It does take some time, so don't get discouraged. But it will turn yellow and then go away completely. I am ordering second pouch as it popped up in another section.

Worked exactly as advertised on my sedge-infested lawn. Instructions are clear and quite simple. I followed the 2+2 mowing recommendation (don’t mow 2 days before and 2 days after application). I was slightly concerned about not seeing quick results but after reading others comments I waited and began seeing sedge death after about 10 days. I had used the ortho product in previous years but in my experience this worked better.

Unfortunately I have to go with 1 star. I have only a few patches of nutsedge so i was able to coat them well with this product. I followed the instructions to the letter, including not mowing two days before or two days after. I'm two weeks in now and every nutsedge patch is green and growing vigorously including new seed heads. So, it didn't just fail a little it failed completely. I guess on the upside it was easy enough to mix and apply. If it had killed even some of the nutsedge I'd be OK, but 0% success is just unacceptable.

I use sedgehammer to take care of VERY persistent and noxious purple nutsedge. I don’t know if all the rain this year has amped up the nutsedge or what, but all my gardens and large swathes of lawn were absolutely infested. I mostly use this product to spot treat in landscape beds, and use the ortho nutsedge spray on the lawns (I’m on 2/3 acre). It takes a couple weeks on the nose to see results with sedgehammer, but it kills the nutsedge, and that’s the goal! Wonderful product!
