Great set!
My 10yr old son is an aspiring chess player and was over the moon with this set! It absolutely looks stunning and well made and love having it displayed in our living room for him to easily play anytime! It's unique shape makes it perfect for a corner round table!

Less of a crafted work look, more manufactured.
The photos are deceptive.This board does not look like crafted wood, it is much cheaper looking. For the price, this is disappointing.But as a chess/checkers set goes, it's functional.

If you respect chess, keep looking
The drawers stick so bad. It takes almost breaking the whole board to retrieve the pieces to play.Probably my fault for not checking sizes, set is so small the pieces are barely smaller than the squares. Almost always knock down other pieces trying to make a move.There are four chess players in my house and no one has been able to make it work. It has since been replaced.If you respect chess, keep looking
