Ensure the saw you intend to place Beam cutter on, is on the list of saws that work with the cutter
I had intended to install this on a Rigid R32104 Worm Drive, mostly because of their lifetime warranty but it would not fit. After a conversation with Bob at Prazi I decide to mount it on a Skilsaw SPT 77. This worked out very well and installation was very easy with the exception of having to remove the lower blade guard from the saw. Adjustment of the Prazi Beam cutter was fairly easy and saw now cuts great. Very happy with the purchase and enjoyed talking with Bob at Prazi customer service.

Ease of use and great customer service.
I purchased the Prazi 7000 to go on a Skil 81/4" saw. It took me about 30 min to set the Prazi on the Skilsaw, being you have to take the blade guard off of the Skill worm drive saw. I have a large timber beam project I took on at my home and have to make approximately 200 crosscuts, miter cuts and lap joints on 6 X 10, 6 X 8, 6 x6 and 4x6 cypress beams. I had a few questions when thinking about purchasing this tool rather than using my 16" beam saw. I called Bob on 3 separate occasions, and he was quick to answer the phone and give me the guidance on what I needed and any assembly questions. After assembly and alignment of the saw I crosscut a 6"x10" beam and it was like butter to cut, and the face was flat and straight even with no guide! I have to make over 25 lap joints on my 4" x 6" purlins. I made another lap joint test cut on a 4 x 6, again by free hand and it wasn't perfect but with a guide it would have been, and it only took less than a minute. If the rest of my project goes as good as the test cuts, this tool will save me hours upon hours of time.I'm giving this tool 5 stars because of price point, ease of assembly and use and something else that is hard to find these days is great customer service. Thanks Bob!!1

Works Pretty Well
The models listed on the package when it arrived for compatibility is limited and saws are no longer sold. I can't seem to get an answer from the company if my current model of Makita will work. I'm probably sending it back for a refund. Great idea, but no idea if it's safe to use with my saw and can't find out. They need to update their material or the tool itself to include a model safe to use with current models of saws out there.I ended up keeping it and giving it a try. It felt a bit risky, but I gave it a go anyway with my fantastic Makita cordless. It worked well and only knocked the score down a bit for poor communication from Prazi support.

Just no.Cuts great first cut unfortunately every single bolt and screw will rattle out guess they don’t believe in locktite. After 2nd cut chain was loose went to tighten and snapped tensioning bolt off. Turns out the chain tension bolt’s threads are machined into soft aluminum and will strip out when you go to tighten it with minimal force. That was after the screws for riving knife rattled out and chain cut into it . They charge twice as much to build it in the USA then use the same cheap parts as the harbor freight model . Sent pictures of bolt stripped out they offered to replace if I paid for it. Sorry just gonna return

Honest review Prazi
I do a lot of wood working. From mill work to rough carpentry to finish work and crafts this product has helped in a few stages along that process.I use this in conjunction with a DeWalt DWS535B worm drive saw for cutting pre made beams and to cut end grain from logs and thicker slabs. I’ve also used this with a ripping chain to cut slabs with an Alaskan mill.-The Chain: Oregon 3/8 low pro- .050 kerf- 91 drive links.-The Bar: 3/8LP- 18” .050- but is stamped specifying a 63 drive link chain. ??Both easily replaceable as basic chainsaw parts. In my experience the chain came very dull. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed in a short period with a hand file. Carry silicone spray or oil as a lubricant in longer cuts to keep it running smooth and cool. Also take your time. Prazi says you don’t need a chain oiler because the lower rpm of worm saws but an 18” bar through some dry hardwoods will most certainly overheat and over work your equipment. The safety (yellow) bar flexes easily and will cause the finish to chip away around the two hex bolts fastening it. I opted to remove this because the safety bar became more of a hinderance to me than what I deemed “safe”.Note: This saw works in opposite rotation as compared to a chainsaw and if you encounter kick back it’s going to come up between the legs as opposed to coming at your head/upper body.Installation is fairly easy if you’re knowledgeable around this stuff. If you have difficulty, look up a video. The directions that come with this are not precise, clear or displayed well for the many different makes of worm drive saws.It is likely you will have to remove the safety shroud from the saw completely or cut a large section out with a grinder. This is the case for a Dewalt DWS535B. Make sure to keep track of the springs and internals if you plan to change this back to a 7 1/4” circ saw.Overall this is a nice product that fits a niche for me. I have cut over 50 board foot and it is holding up so far. Time will tell if it is durable enough to make up the sticker price. It is not a highly crafted or machined item and you will more than likely find blemishes. You are paying the premium for the Mount. All attached accessories are basic run of the mill chainsaw part #s.Post questions and I’ll do my best to follow it up.

Works Great!
This beam cutter is awesome and works great! I checked some cuts against my miter saw to make sure they were straight and they were right on!
