Brilliant picture and sound quality.
A brilliant TV with great picture quality and a lovely sound tone. The TV and remote are nice quality - solid and well-built. A decent weight, it is sturdy and looks really smart. When you switch it on, it opens onto the home screen, so you just select the TV or one of the apps. If you switch it off from Netflix, it opens directly onto Netflix again. To get back onto TV, you just press the ‘home’ button and select the TV option. The remote is the LG ‘magic’ remote which has a pointer which operates like a mouse. This can be a bit annoying at times, as it can be activated by a flick of the remote, which is quite sensitive and can be activated accidentally. You just press an arrow key to switch the function off again. (It will then pause what you’re streaming - meaning you have to press ‘play’ again, so a bit of a pain). It’s something that I’m just getting used to. Personally, it wouldn’t put me off the TV, as it’s such good quality. I’d definitely buy another one.

Well Worth Buying
Absolutely delighted with my new 48 inch ( yes no millimetres here ) tv from LG . Never purchased an LG product before but having read all the favourable reviews on Amazon for this model I decided this would be the best option. First impressions were that this tv despite being smaller than my previous 55 inch Samsung was in fact heavier and IMO much better quality and build . Instead of the two remotes supplied with the Samsung ( why 2 ?) the LG remote is a much better design and feels more user friendly. Once powered up the picture quality was impressive with none of the blurring I encountered with the Samsung. I shall only be using this LG for receiving the usual terrestrial channels via my roof aerial so cannot comment on its other features. So far So good

This is the best TV I've ever seen.
My last TV was one of the early 4k 49 inch Sony models, which I bought ten years ago, when suddenly there was only sound. Spare parts were a thing of the past, but then I don't think it owed me anything. What to do? I read the reviews, and went for a larger, LG OLED model, much more expensive than the Sony, but in real money, probably not that much more. My seating layout places me about five metres from the screen with along with my advancing age, explains the larger screen, and my desire for the quality of image provided by the OLED screen, and LG are supposed to be amongst the best. It's been on the wall now for about a fortnight, and to be honest, I'm still finding my way around the controls, which in my case, includes using a Sky box. But I'm getting there. What is certain however that this is truly a wonderful screen, one's eyes sink into it, it's quite mesmerising, I am delighted. The sound is okay, but nothing like as fantastic as the screen, which is not that unusual for flat screens these days. For the Sony, I wired up the headphone outlet to my HiFi, that really made a difference. For the LG, I bought a cheap and cheerful adaptor, which enabled me to run a sound outlet from the digital optical out socket, to the adaptor which converted it to analogue, then into my HiFi using the old cable. Job done. You could probably do just as well with a sound bar. Overall, I'm delighted, and I highly recommend this TV.

Great Tv
Great quantity and brightness with sharp images, the sound quality is fairly good as well. The only downfall is Bluetooth connection sometimes disconnects other than that is a very good television.

Great TV! Very impressive.
I bought this TV a few days ago, having been eyeing it up for a year (was interested in the previous model but kept waiting for a good deal). It turned up quickly in good condition. First impressions are very good. Easy to use, set up was fairly straight forward, although some of the apps prompted to go into each of them to set up accounts immediately - would recommend skipping some of those steps and coming back to them after the initial set up. In terms of functionality, the remote control is lovely, with a scroll button which also activates a pointer similar to a Nintendo Wii. The screen is brilliant. If you've upgraded from a standard LED (Even a 4k one), you'll be impressed by the image quality. Some people say OLED lacks in terms of brightness but I can't say I've felt any disadvantage so far. I was expecting the sound quality to be a bit naff because everywhere I went people told me I would need a sound bar, but honestly the audio sounds pretty good compared to previous sets I had. It allows you to turn on or off AI picture and audio enhancement on set up, so you can see the difference and personally I think it sounds superb! The only thing I struggled with a little was setting up the stand - the instructions made something very simple seem much more complicated than it actually was; and then I was worried about breaking it when I tried to move it into position without handling certain areas of the screen as instructed. Make sure you have 1 or 2 extra people with you to help.

Beautiful picture
Absolutely stunning picture. Easy to install and set up. It replaces a 10 year old LG LED that was appalling in a number of ways (almost stopped me getting LG again.) The colours really pop. Love it. Sound is okay but I use a soundbar with it. The stand is a serious bit of kit requiring 8 screws which are supplied.

Brilliant
Great tv with amazing picture. I took out the free installation package and the guys who delivered and installed it, Mark and Graham, were brilliant. They took the old tv off and installed the new one to the existing mounting bracket. They took the old tv and lackaging away with them after setting uo the tv. Great job
