I bought the Karite professional portable nail drill with 35,000 RPM on August 10th 2023 and today is July 11th 2024, that is a solid 11 months of use. So this a true review from a long time user. This has been a solid drill to use, no problems with it whatsoever. I was a licensed Nail Technician when I was younger, but my license has expired. I use this drill at home on myself but with a skilled background. I use it quite often and used it for hours after putting on a full set of nails, shaping the product and shaving down areas that are too thick. I bought and used different brands of drill bits with this drill with no problems whatsoever. It is a very powerful machine even though it is small and portable. This is no cheap drill, this drill is the real deal. I think the highest I’ve gone is 6-7, and you better be careful because this drill is seriously powerful and that high speed and you will feel the intense heat on your nail bed. Even when I’m shaving down the product on my nails I usually go between 4-5 and if I’m just shaping 3-4. Using the correct drill bits and you don’t need high power/speed to shape and de-bulk certain areas of the nail. This is a very powerful drill, I would definitely label it a professional drill. But if you are a novice or self taught in my opinion you could still use this drill safely if you go slow and educate yourself before use. The battery lasts a long time. I can use it for a few hours a few times a week and it still doesn’t need to be charged. I’m only guessing but I’d say I can definitely used it for many hours 6-8 times and then I might to charge it. I charge it when the battery is at 2 or 1. The instructions tell you at what point you should or could charge your drill, I always follow the instructions because I want it to last a long time. I paid back in 2023 $79.99 for my Karite drill, I waited a few weeks but the price never dropped. I have seen it a lower prices than what I paid. I wish I could have paid less but I still have no regrets because it isn’t a very expensive nail drill. It does have a pause button but I don’t leave it on for very long, I just shut it off to keep the battery full because it is super easy to turn on and off. I wanted to point out something that I think is important on the drill box. At the top there is a small section that is open all the time where you plug your drill to charge it with a cord. A lot of dust is produced when shaping artificial nails. I don’t want a bunch of nail dust accumulating in the charge area, so I use a piece of tape I can remove easily when it is time to charge my drill. I always keep this covered with tape until I need to charge it. It usually takes about 2 hours to fully charge. I hope my review is helpful. This is a great drill, I have no complaints at all about the drill. I’m still super happy with my purchase basically a year later.

This nail drill is amazing. Easy to use with lots of attachments. The charge last a long time and its very durable. I purchased one for a family member as well.

The Karite Nail Drill is a great little device and has proven to be a perfect replacement for my old Emesco dental lab handpiece for which I can not get a replacement drive belt (They no longer make them). I am very pleased that all of my drill bits/tips fit the Karite device perfectly. Although the Karite doesn’t have as much power as the old Emesco it doesn’t matter because it is adequate for what I use it for ( jewelry, crafts, and other things like miniature inventions). I haven’t used it on my nails though! Bit I’m sure it would do wonders. The speed is adjustable, it is very quiet when running, it has a pause and reverse button and is rechargable. It is portable, clips on my belt. All in all I am very satisfied and happy that I found it. And the price was right!, One tenth the cost of the Emesco and that was 40 years ago! 5Stars! F Johnson

It has a very long battery life, plenty of different attachable drill bits, works well, the speed dial works well, and customer service responds either in the same day or will call you back, so you don't have to waste forever on a call line!

I love the quality of this machine; it's super strong and the charge lasts a long time. I love it!

I bought this for a sanding project that is not nails, but a little miniature item. It was FANTASTIC for working in small areas on wood and ivory. It was also useable on baked polymer clay. The battery is extremely long lasting, and even after several days between sessions, without recharging it I got another 3 hour session out of it (i.e., the battery was slow to discharge when not in use). I didn't use it for acrylic nails, but I am sure it will do all that is necessary, based on what it did for me and the materials I worked on with it. The different sanding bits selection is varied and very useful. The pause button is a great feature. This machine is also VERY QUIET which is a huge plus for me and would be for anyone who was working with clients doing nails. It is lightweight. There is also very minimal hand vibration. I found I could work with it for a full 4 hours and have no hand problems from the vibration. I stopped because of tired vision (working small) not because of the tool. I have small to medium sized hands (female) and it was easy for me to hold and manipulate in a number of different ways (because I was not using it for acrylic nails). I love this and wish I'd purchased one years ago. I think the price was more than fair for the quality of the device. I highly recommend it.

Re-Update The company sent me a replacement unit that has been working flawlessly for months. ** A+ Customer Service and A+ for this nail drill. I would buy again. ** UPDATE I ORDERED THIS ON FEB 11 AND RECEIVED IT QUICKLY. The tools are excellent. THE BATTERY IS NOT. The battery completely discharges after a week. I noticed this and recharged the unit weekly since owning it. Today, I recharged it again and it ran for only two minutes. Initially, it didn’t have the advertised run time, but, I shrugged that off for the price. What I didn’t expect was for the unit to be mostly useless after less than two months. END OF UPDATE Original Review I was using this tool shortly after it arrived. I had never used a nail drill,so, I was a little surprised at how quickly I was drilling away! The motor is quiet and smooth. The controls are intuitive. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a reasonably priced nail drill.

Been using this drill for a year and it's been amazing! Fits every bit I've ordered and is really powerful. I use this for all my manicures and pedicures. It's been a game changer. My only critique is that the holder on the side is loose, so your drill will fall off easily when standing.

Faulty chuck holder then drill doesn't even work when plugged in. Hopefully this is just a error and will be replaced. I have emailed seller directly and through Amazon. Email address on the box is incorrect as well. Leaflet inside has the correct details. Looks like it could be a potentially good drill. Please sort ASAP.

I do my own nails at home, I’ve been through a few drills. This one has to be my favourite, as it charges fast and the battery life is great. I also love the speed I hardly ever use it above speed 5. Great drill!!

Disappointed by the look of it , the power etc . Too many little pieces that I will never use. If you are going to buy something , by well known brand
