This stool had a weight limit of 330lbs. I used it today for the very first time. My weight is 225lbs. This piece of junk crumbled under me and I fell, not only injuring myself, but also feeling humiliated as I was on a public fishing pier along with about 30 strangers. I could make this worse, but I'm an honest man. My elbow will heal, as will my pride, but I'll be dammed if I pay to return this broken rubish!

Okay, I waited to do a review on this because I wanted to see how it held up. I am a VERY plus size woman and it held my weight just fine. However, what I found is that the feet on the bottom of it fell off. I have no idea what happened to them. Also, the strap to the backpack frayed and the material started to unravel. Luckily, I had a lighter on me and was able to burn the frayed pieces to prevent them from unwinding any further, but this shorten the length of the strap and the strap kept being a problem. I finally tied it into a knot to prevent it from slipping through the connectors. All in all, I was able to use this bag several times and it has done pretty well. I just wish this bag had 1) more compartments 2) better adjustable straps, 3) a softer seat cushion.I connected a small pillow to the top of my seat and bungee corded it with an S clip to keep the pillow and the bag connected, while I was wearing it as a back pack. When I used it as a seat, I simply unfolded the seat section and readjusted the pillow. It was very comfortable and I was thankful to have it. We went on a long weekend trip to Florida and we did a lot of walking and taking buses. Often, when we would wait for the bus, there were nowhere to sit OR the seats were already taken. I had many envious eyes looking at my backpack and got many compliments from the people who took the bus and worked in the area. Many people thought it was a terrific idea. -- Myself included-- :-DI gave it 4 stars because it held my weight and it did a great job for that trip, but it has some poor construction flaws with the straps and the feet of the bag.

Way sturdier than I thought it would be! I really like the insulated compartment which will be great for storing food while hiking into camp. Also lots of extra storage compartments for binoculars amount etc.Only complaint for me was the back pack straps were a bit awkward for me but I am a fairly large guy

I really like that the backpack part sits under the seat part. I use this when I am out drumming and have to leave the stool to go and drum so this makes me feel that my belongings are a little more secure. Love that it is green as I can find it easily amongst the pile of black backpacks left by the rest of my group.

the bag is very well made and looks good. there is a good attention to detail and it is very solid. the straps are well padded and comfortable with a cross chest strap too. it has a good capacity with a laptop sleeve in the main compartment and some small pockets for cables or other small items. the seat is well constructed and sturdy with a nice padded seat. even though it has a seat built in it is very light and easy to wear.

Great value and functionality. I wish the water bottle pocket was a bit larger to fit my 22oz water bottle. But the thing holds my 280lb self pretty well. I wouldn't suggest sitting on it for any large period of time, or back packing for a larger period of time. But it's excellent for what it costs and what you'd use it for.

I use this for camping and my softball games during the week. Very comfortable. I'm 230+ lbs, easily holds me. I don't have much use for the backpack (I just carry it) but the straps are nice and out of the way. The cooler easily held a 12 pack with ice. Think it could fit more if you tried. I also like the extra pockets for wallet, keys, etc.

My husband had 1 for 10 years before this 1 and 1 day he left it on a soccer field and we haven't been able to find it he was totally distraught hes is this all the time so I got him this one for Christmas. This 1 is durable and it keeps the waters cool in the pouch inside it's lightweight and sturdy
