Healthy, happy cat loves this food!
My cat loves this and it's been very easy on her stomach. She had some teeth extracted last month and it's been really helpful to have soft food for the transition. And before anyone blasts this comment with ignorant BS, cats can be perfectly healthy or even healthier on a Vegan diet. Nutrients are nutrients. Plants are a cleaner source than exploited and murdered animals.

Cat hates it
Unfortunately our cat hates it. Sweet idea and everything, but the texture is quite firm with little chunks of carrot, not really like a cat food pate texture. Our cat has been offered it multiple times in combination with other foods she likes, and refuses it completely.

Great taste! Super flavor enhancement!
Great flavor profile! I know this because I tasted it and it amazingly tastes like beef. Incredibly expensive as a 100% replacement which makes it prohibitive for the common people, but used as a 15% ingredient is completely affordable. I use 1 can per month, making $5 a can feasible. This delicious vegan lentil-based recipe is a wonderful flavor enhancement for the vet-approved homemade chicken wet food that I make every 3-4 months. The lentil wet food constitutes 15% of the chicken wet food which I blend into the batch in my food processor and then create plastic-wrapped rolls similar to cheese logs that last for 3-4 days thus preventing spoilage and ensuring fresh wet food for each meal. The logs fit vertically into 1/2-gallon Mason jars which are then vacuum-sealed and frozen. I use the excellent Fresko vacuum sealer for this. Since air is the #1 cause of food spoilage, vacuum sealing is the best way to make cat food in batches. I remove one log at a time to thaw, and blend 10% water with a fork into each portion. When the log in use is down to a day’s worth, I put the next frozen log into the fridge to thaw. I bought my first case of this vegan lentil wet cat food as part of a transition plan from animal-protein wet food to a plant-based protein wet food. If the cats accepted this replacement, my plan was to make homemade lentil wet food in place of chicken wet food. I began by blending in a smidge of the lentil wet food to the chicken wet food and both cats enjoyed their meal even more. I gradually increased the lentil wet food to 15% and the kitty acceptance remained satisfactory. However, from further research I am doubtful that cats can safely “go vegan” even with supplementation because they truly are obligate carnivores and lentil protein does not sufficiently provide the true protein they need. My conclusion is that this is a compromise a vegan person needs to make if they want to keep cats. So, this lentil-based cat food will remain of a terrific flavor enhancement. .

This is a pass for my cats, but hope to try again in the future
I have four rescue cats, three elderly guys and a 2 year old little lady. All of them declined this food. I really wanted this to be a hit for my cats to add some variety to their regular carnivore diet. The consistency of the food is like paste and didn’t have an appetizing appearance. I’m still giving it three stars because I believe in the quality of the food and the quality of the company behind it. I have bought the Wild Earth dog kibble as treats for when I walk my neighbor’s dog, and she takes the kibble happily. I hope WE creates more products to which my four cats will be agreeable.

All our cats & rescued kittens love it!!
All our cats love this one, and it's so gentle on their tummies. Even our 3 kitties that we rescued 5 weeks ago, & are now weaning off from formula - are so obsessed with this food. So thankful for kind & nutritionally complete options for them.

My cats just don't like it
I love the idea, but my cats barely will eat it. Can they fix the recipe? It's pricey to throw out. I have to mix in at least half meat with the vegan food to even entice them! It looks and smells nice to me, but I'm not a cat.
