I was on the hunt for an affordable moisturiser, not only is this cream super affordable it’s so hydrating, softening and gives my skin an all day glow! Super thick consistency and gentle scent too,I love it and it’s now part of my everyday skincare.

I have used both this one and the green tub called water cream. I have combination skin so my cheek are very dry and become flaky red during winter so this cream is effective enough to sooth the dryness and pain. But it feels very sticky and heavy at first when you apply so not too lightweight compared to the green water cream but the water cream is not effective enough to reduce dryness but great in oily T zone so having both tubs are the best solution. I have tried many moisturisers for sensitive skin, which have made my skin sore- this one did not. My skin feels very moisturised and looks good with this cream, I need something a bit more moisturising in the winter and this is perfect. No SPF but I use it overnight and on days when I'm mainly indoors (although the age resisting cream is SPF 15- also a good cream, bought as I was so impressed with this one). No strong smell.The very fussy husband also used it for a couple of dry patches and was impressed (that's a first!)This will be a staple product for me from now on- and it's an excellent price.

This cream scored high on the Yuka app (minimal nasties in) and although i’m sensitive to creams sometimes this one this has been ok. Feels nice and hydrating. Bought twice now and both times has been good.

I just keep coming back to this moisturiser!This is a god send for sensitive skin. I use this only in the evening (as I like a morning moisturiser to have additional benefits) and it works great for restoring my skin barrier. I find when I use retinol products or peptides my skin can become sensitive but using this religiously has made my skin be able to take the harsher actives in my routine.I love how lightweight this moisturiser is, it’s almost gel like when it’s smoothed into the skin. It’s so refreshing and soothing when applying. You don’t need much of it for it to work well either. For the price and how much of an improvement I’ve seen to my skin barrier since using this it’s just a no brainer.I’d like to add also that I have acne prone and eczema prone sensitive skin and this has never broken me out. Couldn’t recommend it anymore!

My skin is less dry, and slowly improving.

I have never been one for fancy face cream and rarely wear any make-up except mascara unless I'm going out (which you could probably count on one hand in a year). My skin is EXTREMELY sensitive and now in my 50's - I have recently been diagnosed with Rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis (great) for which I have prescription creams to apply daily. It is no exaggeration to say that a "flare up" for me turns my face beetroot red and it stings/burns like severe sunburn.Needless to say, this has put the fear of god into me for trying anything new on my face and even my old faithful moisturiser is now causing a reaction. Added to all this, post menopause, my skin is drier and flakier than ever before so I desperately needed something to help this but not set my skin off. I have tried SO many now, spent hours researching and a small fortune on expensive products - supposedly "safe" for sensitive skin - only to feel my skin start to burn seconds after applying!I remembered using Simple products as a teenager and after carefully studying the ingredients I ordered the rich facial moisturiser and - with extreme trepidation - applied it before going to bed last night. I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I was to find that it was lovely and cooling on my skin and - even better - I awoke this morning to see my skin looking visibly less dry!I cannot recommend this product highly enough to anyone experiencing similar skin issues to me.
