A little fiddly to use
It’s very retro and looks the part however I found it a little fiddly to use. The screen is small and the sound isn’t great and not that loud. It’s very cheap brittle plastic so I wouldn't want to drop it. Numerous games to choose from.

Worth its price
My daughter loved this little arcade machine. It has lots of fun games that she loved playing. It's the perfect size to take with her on a trip or vacation. I highly recommend it!

Basically, a mini Sega Megadrive 👍
What a great, cheap little retro novelty. Basically a Sega megadrive in a fun size arcade machine. Bought one for a friend's birthday gift, with great success. He loved it. & I liked it so much too, I then bought myself one for the man cave. Takes me back to being 14 again. Recommend nostalgic fun.

Great little unit.
This is a great little unit for retro arcade games. It is basically Sega Megadrive games and possibly some hack roms. It is overall better than other arcade units that offer over 300 games of NES stuff which is unplayable. The majority of games are playable and enjoyable and have the correct button mapping for Megadrive games. The only downsides are the menu music with some sort of rendition of "Don't cry for me Argentina" and no save states, so any progress made in a game is lost when you exit the game. But, this isn't much of a problem, would be nice to have though. Also the games are not listed in any coherent order so scrolling through the list for the game you want could take some time. If the menu music could be changed or removed altogether and saves possible this would get 6 out of 5 stars from me. I have not tried the TV out but wouldn't expect any decent image to appear on a 30 plus inch TV, it would be all stretched out and pixelated or blurry. I have a real Megadrive to play on the big screen. Overall this unit will sit proudly with my small collection of mini arcades.

Good value for money but room for improvement
Lets get out the way a few things I don't like about this handheld console first. I don't like that there is a reset button close to the other buttons that you could potentially hit by accident which take you immediately back to the main screen. I also don't like that for some games you have no idea which buttons you are meant to press so you have to experiment. I also don't like that you can't save your progress (or at least I couldn't find a way to do that) and that's an issue with some games which are long adventures. I also think it would have been good to have a way to save your favourite games in a sub folder so you didn't have to keep scrolling through them all to find them. Now on to the good points. I like how this console feels in the hand, it's nice and comfy to hold. The screen is nice and clear and colourful. The graphics are pretty good. The selection of games you get for the price is really good value for money and if you are of a certain age you will be continually oohhing and aahhing as the retro memories flood back! I instantly recognised the Smurfs, Tekken, Tetris, Battletoads and then... I saw... Dizzy! Oh my days, how I loved that adventurous egg!! All those sweet memories came flooding back. If you don't know the history of the Dizzy games and the Oliver twins who made them, you should go and check out the story on YT, it's fascinating. The twin boys, back in the 1980s when they were only 13 years old, won a TV gaming competition and their coding career began. I love Fantastic Dizzy, which is the game on this console, but I am now rediscovering the rest of the series. So I have this console to thank for dropping me down the rabbit hole and rediscovering a lost joy of my childhood. The console is rechargeable and the battery lasts for a good few gaming sessions. There is plenty of fun to be had here, even for kids not familiar with the games. And you can tell your children all about your first experiences with the games and the nostalgia they fill you with now. Just a few little improvements and this console would be worthy of five stars but as it stands currently, it's four out of five stars from me.
