There is a half inch soft PVC "cap" you can slide over one end and seal with PVC glue for an easy forever fix.

Thanks for your question. To my knowledge this tubing does not have any food safe or food grade certifications. It is safe for use in ponds and water gardens, but it does not have any sort of potable or food use certifications. Hello. The size is the same on both ends of the tubing, 1/2 inch inner diameter. Also, our pumps do come with the adapters so you can attach the tubing to the pump. We hope this helps you!
