I bought this bed on a whim because I had decided to stop with the arthritis injections that I was giving my cat for safety reasons. She is 17 years old and I know that she struggles with arthritis pain. I have bought her beds before and she always gravitate to the dog beds instead. However, she absolutely LOVES this bed...to the point that time she would have spent snuggling with me, she is in her bed instead (the only negative). Whether it helps her or not, I cannot tell but it makes her happy and that is all that really matters but it has to feel good on her achey joints.

My cat loves it and is sleeping better through the night! I wish there was a bigger size. So happy to have this option vs. a heating pad that turns on and off and its challenging to manage the heat level. love this - there should be more of these for all sizes of pets!!

So I can’t believe I spent this kind of money on a cat bed, but I did. My rescue cat has a little arthritis at the base of her tail & I thought this might be helpful. Thankfully, she uses it. I placed a fleece blanket in it & she took to it right away. I feel her using it is a win.

These are AMAZING. They have been used by every cat in have and every friends cats i have lent them to.They do seem to reduce pain and are also just enjoyed for warmth.I just wish tge outside cover was removable for washing, the Knead idms better for tgat and just as popular *except * with cats that prefer to sprawl.I would very much like a larger size with a larger warming area. The dog bed version available has the same size hearing g pad just a larger mattress around it, so it doesn't really do well treating the whole body of larger pets.

I had originally purchased this in October 2022 for my senior boy cat. A couple of weeks later, I helped him cross the rainbow bridge, and so, the bed sat unplugged and unused for a while.I recently noticed my senior girl struggling to jump/climb as much as she used to, so the bed came back out, got plugged back in. I have noticed a tremendous difference in how she carries herself now. The bed seems to work very well for her - she seems much more comfortable when she is moving. While she isn't jumping up as much as she used to, she's no longer moving slow when she's jumping up or down from other furniture.My middle aged cat also loves this bed when its on as well. As far as I can tell, she is otherwise totally fine, and seems to just like the heat.

I purchased this unit exactly a year ago. For the duration of that year, I would sing praises about this bed. Shame on me…I ordered one infrared bed and I have three cats! I thought the 10 year old would really appreciate it, that the others could stick with the heated pet beds that they know and love. That is not to be! TWO of my cats have occupied the new Thermotex infrared pet bed since I plugged it in and there is no room for the third. These cats can really tell the difference in the heat source. So, I return to order one more bed and before the end of the month I suspect I will cave and order a third. I am currently treating my lower back to the Thermotex Platinum heating pad and I love it too! I guess we have become a Thermotex infrared family…I highly recommend BOTH products, for woman and for cat!

I just purchased this for a newborn puppy that cannot regulate its body temp. I received it today The bed has two setting low and high but tall over the booklet it says do NOT use on high setting. My question is why make it with a high setting if you can’t use it. Makes zero sense. The low setting isn’t warm enough.
