Well made. Looks legit. Was a great gift for a friend who recently lost a replica they had for a long time to go with his pirate attire.

High quality, looks authentic.
It’s everything I expected. A good, solid piece of great quality. Looks great with my outfit and feels authentic. I was surprised the trigger mechanism actually works even though it’s non firing, I thought it was just a show piece.

Better than I expect it would be.
This is actually a pretty decent prop pistol. It looks great and has some weight to it. The flintlock and trigger are operable, but the mechanism seems a tad flimsy. It will work fine as an accessory for a pirate costume I am putting together for an upcoming dinner party.

Really cool prop!
Really nice prop flintlock. Which isn't a surprise from Denix. I've owned a few swords from Denix and all are pretty good quality. This flintlock is made of real metal and wood. The pricing is also fairly decent in comparison to many other Denix replicas that are a tad pricey. Packaging was subpar. It was just floating around the box with no bubble rap or foam casing. It seems like some paint rubbed off inside of the box but it's not noticable on the prop.

Perfect in almost every way!
These are spectacular! I purchased 3 of these, 1 for me and 2 for my boyfriend! We are going to be pirates for our daughters 19 birthday, per her request! These are nicely done. The metal looks and feels like metal, the wood looks and feels like wood! The wood even has what appears to be aging. So it has a used and worn look to it, which is exactly what real flintlock pistols used by pirates would have, no pirates is going to have pristine weapons. The only reason I did not give 5 stars... one pistol had a sharp metal edge on one of the screws and it cut my hand. The other 2 pistols are perfect! We are going to file down the one sharp edge and it too will be perfect! I found very similar pistols on Etsy for double the price. I can not compare the quality but I will say for the price listed here I would say you can not beat this deal!
