Pizza In A Flash! We Love This Oven!
Ease of use is 9/10. No assembly out of the box, just plug in, press power to turn on, scroll through pizza settings to desired crust, press start to begin preheating, screen will let you know when preheating is finished and to put in the pizza, press start again to set auto cook timer, and then press power to turn off. If you make multiple pizzas, the oven stays on without any additional buttons to press. It is nice to see simple electronics again. Pizza cooking temperatures are all pre-set from 700 degrees for artisanal, 550 degrees for thin crust, and 400s for NY style and pan pizza. Each of the crust styles have their own preset bake times which is convenient, but there is a custom setting for you to change the temp and timer. The thin crust is a 4-minute cook time, but I added 30-60 seconds based on the toppings and for a darker crust. The pizza oven has a light and a glass window in the door allowing you to watch the pizza bake and the cheese get bubbly without opening the door. Cooking the pizza presents a challenge at first, but a learning curve is expected for any newbie pizza-maker. Dough cannot be too sticky/wet, 10-inch pizza max, toppings cannot be too heavy or wet, not too much olive oil topper, and I highly recommend using corn meal on the pizza peel to prevent sticking when putting the pizza in the oven! You’ll get the hang of it through practice. I can report that I was cranking out perfect 10-inch thin crust pizzas on my third day of using the pizza oven! The pizza oven can also be used to proof, bake, and broil, but I have not tried any of those options yet. Negatives are that you must buy the accessories separate, like a pizza peel and a brush to dust off the pizza stone. The box contains only the pizza oven and pizza stone that goes into the oven when baking. Also, the oven is very small, so you won’t be making large NY style pizza pies… 10-inch max pizza that feeds 1-2 people. But since the bake time is so fast you can easily make several pizzas in little time if you need to feed a family or for a party. I easily made eight 10-inch pizzas in under a couple hours, and that was giving myself time to enjoy the pizzas coming out of the oven between rolling dough and topping the next pizza.Overall, the pizza oven is a great addition for making tasty restaurant quality pizza at home. The $300 price point is a little high because a pizza stone and your oven at its highest setting can probably produce a similar result, but I enjoyed the experience nevertheless and I am a lot more inclined to make pizza at home now that I have this pizza oven. I would normally take off one star for the price point, but in this case, you are getting a true (outdoor) kitchen appliance so the $300 price tag is expected.

Oven has a preset function for 5 different styles of pizza
I have wanted a pizza oven for some time, so I was happy to find this Ninja Artisan outdoor pizza oven. Although I make homemade pizzas at home in my oven on a pizza stone, they are never as good as the ones I can get at a local Italian restaurant. The crust just doesn’t come out as crispy because of the limited temperature range of my home oven, whether I use from scratch dough or the dough I buy from my local grocery store. This pizza oven solves that problem very well. It heats all the way up to 700°, and has a preset function for 5 different styles of pizza. Each pizza type (Neapolitan, Thin Crust, New York, Chicago/Pan, Custom) requires different cooking temps & times. The custom setting allows you to set your own. Once I get the oven preheated, I like to cook several pizzas in a row. A thin crust one only takes about 3 or 4 minutes and you can cook them back to back because it holds its heat so well. You aren’t just limited to pizzas either. to the 2 heating elements, one at the top and one at the bottom, you can bake casseroles, brownies, etc., or even broil a nice steak if you want. This oven will even proof your pizza dough or bread, as well as dehydrate foods for later use. There is a digital display that shows temp & timer, as well as mode. All the controls are right up front and easy to see. The display even tells you when to add food or remove it. It comes with a pizza stone and a heavy duty baking tray. You use the stone for pizzas or even sourdough bread, and can use the baking tray either alone or on top of the stone. The preheated pizza stone is what gives my pizza that crispy authentic italian crust. It is a shame that they didn’t include a pizza peel, since that is one of the main tools in pizza baking. The oven has a glass window in the door so you can peek in and see your pizza without having to open the door and lose heat during cooking. The oven has a very cool modern design, and actually looks a bit Mid Century Modern to me. The outside of mine has a matte dark gray finish except for the black legs and metal drop down door. The door handle acts as a support for the door when opened–very nice touch. You can get a neat stand for the oven for around $100, but I just put mine on a folding table. It must be well insulated, because it didn’t melt or damage the table. Other accessories are available for various prices, including the pizza peel that is around $30 - $40. I really like this oven, even though I have to use it outside.

Pizza Night
Alright, so I'd been eyeing a proper pizza oven for a while because my homemade pizzas just weren't hitting that perfect crispy crust I love from restaurants. This Ninja pizza oven definitely solves that problem. It gets seriously hot – way hotter than my indoor oven, up to 700°F – and that pizza stone inside makes a huge difference. The crust comes out authentically crispy and delicious. It's surprisingly easy to use too, with presets for different pizza styles (Neapolitan, thin crust, etc.) that handle the temp and time, though you can customize it. Pizzas cook super fast, like 3-5 minutes once it's preheated, and it holds heat well enough to knock out several pizzas back-to-back without waiting long. It's also more versatile than I expected; you can bake other things or even roast in it. The controls are straightforward, and having that window to peek inside is handy. The main things to keep in mind are that you obviously need an outdoor power outlet, and it feels like a miss that they don't include a pizza peel – you'll definitely need to buy one separately. But honestly, for consistently great, restaurant-style pizza at home, this thing is fantastic.
