Keeps hair manageable after hair dye!
This Colorcharm Post Color & Lightening Treatment Packet is definitely one of the better deep conditioners I’ve used after an at-home dye session. The dyes I use tend to leave my hair dry and squeaky, and this brings back some softness and hydration immediately after. This is super easy to use– apply after rinsing out your dye or bleach and wringing out your hair, and leave on for at least 5 minutes. This has a thicker consistency, so a little goes a long way as it’ll thin out when you apply it. The scent was not my favorite. It smells nice, but it smells like any other deep conditioning packet out of a dye kit. Rinsing out was also easy, and my hair felt silky smooth and soft. I will say that the results definitely depend on if you’ve used a bonding product recently, or if your hair wasn’t super damaged after dying or bleaching. This is great for upkeep as well!

Softer hair
I tried this after a recent at-home dye job, following the directions of 1. dying 2. shampooing 3. using this product and waiting several minutes before rinsing out.I can see what other reviewers are mentioning about the scent-- it has a definite perfumy smell that might not be everyone's favorite. A day later, the smell is still in my hair, but it's something I only notice if my hair is right up by my nose.It seems to work well, although given that you use it right after dying your hair it's not that easy to get a clear sense of before-and-after (I didn't dry my hair after dying/shampooing to see what it looked like before using this). However, it seems like the bleached parts of my hair are softer after using this than they were a day ago before the dye job and treatment. My hair goes to the bottom of my ribcage and I used half the packet-- even that was a lot of product. I don't dye my hair too often so I wasn't trying to scrimp, but I think I could've easily gotten away with using just a third of the packet or maybe even less. For ~$5 list price for ~3+ uses, this is a pretty good value. It's just a little hard to keep it between dyes as it's not a resealable container in any way.

Looks better after a wash or 2
I have shoulder length, fine, highlighted hair. I had my hair highlighted at a salon and I used this on my first wash. This is actually supposed to be used right after processing. Anyway, I used this as directed and rinsed. This made my hair very easy to comb out .However , when my hair was dry and styled, I was underwhelmed I think because this is a heavy conditioner and bonder . But after my second and third washes after using this product my hair looks great., smooth and healthy. I think because this is a bonding treatment this has lasting effects and for whatever reason looked better on my hair after another wash. Maybe because this is usually used at time of color.A bonding treatment repair and strengthen from within the hair strand and has more lasting results. There is enough in the packet for 2 treatments on my hair. The scent is a minimal perfumed scent. I sometimes highlight my own hair and I will definitely use this when I do.

Made my bleached and colored hair soft again
I had bleached my black hair to a orange -blonde and then went over it with a lavender. My hair wasn't retaining moisture from normal conditioning and I've tried a couple hair masks that didn'takw much of a difference.I have short hair and used half a package in the shower. I shampooed, squeezed the excess water out of my hair, and then applied this mask. I did the rest of my shower routine and roughly 10 minutes later rinsed the mask out.It did a great job in making my hair soft, but I didn't care for the smell. It wasn't offensive but it smelled like a generic middle aged woman's perfume mixed with talcom powder. After sleeping the smell wasn't noticeable the next morning.

My wife liked it a lot
My wife is a fan of Wella brand, and this product didn't disappoint. It made her hair soft post coloring, and added good moisture level to it. It works well overall and very easy to use.For a single pack, depending on how often you will need it, it is not far off from the price per ounce for similar products in bottle sizes. Slightly more expensive, but given the quality I'd say it's worth it.

Great for after a monthly dye job
I color my hair one a month and it has taken some damage. This is one of the few masks I can now swear by for post processing. My hair feels soft and silky smooth and not straw like. I split the pack up, half for after dye and half for a week later. It has been great for my hair!
