The KastKing MegaTron 200 baitcasting reel sets a new standard for a larger frame, low profile, high capacity baitcaster reels that has been totally redesigned for comfort, performance, and durability.

The new MegaTron 200 baitcasting fishing reel features a lightweight and powerful graphite frame and side covers but maintains a low-profile design for fishing comfort. The wider frame allows for a wider/larger spool providing high line capacity. The CNC machined aluminum spool will hold up to 130 yards of 17 lb mono, and very high capacities of even stronger and thinner braid.

This fishing reel is perfect for casting large swimbaits, deep diving crankbaits, large Muskie style baits or for big fish like Catfish, Salmon & Steelhead, Snook, Redfish and more. The MegaTron 200 is made to be at home for both fresh and saltwater fishing.

High performance and consistency were core objectives and KastKing started by using only double-shielded stainless-steel ball bearings to ensure longevity as a fresh and saltwater fishing reel. Precision machined brass main gear and brass pinion gear are used to deliver cranking smoothness all day long.

MegaTron 200 baitcasters have a 6.4:1 gear ratio which will return about 29.3 inches of line with each turn of the handle. This is a perfect combination of power and speed when casting big baits for big fish.

MegaTron 200 casting reels are equipped with a highly adjustable 8 magnetic button braking system with nine levels of adjustment that can virtually eliminate overruns while maximizing casting distance.

The new KastKing MegaTron 200 casting reel is made for big fish, big baits and tough conditions. KastKing designed a Triple-Disc carbon fiber drag system that is not just strong, it’s exceptionally smooth. Drag is also important when setting the hook at long distances on large fish.
