Great product! I would 100% recommend! It has a definite lengthening effect and the brush makes it super easy to separate lashes and eliminate any clumping! Stays in place great too!… no smudging!

I've been slowly trying to switch over to clean, nontoxic products more recently and have found that Honest Beauty has been my go-to for makeup products.First of all, I'm a big fan of the fact that this mascara has both the primer and the actual mascara in one bottle.The wands are slim wands, so it causes more clumping, but this is still something that I can work with.It will take a bit more practice from me tho, as the mascara dries much faster than what I am used to, so multiple applications might clump a bit more in the beginning. I'm not going to take stars off of the product for this one because I know the formula is different being a clean product and I still wasn't upset with how it looked first using it. I'll get better at it with time.I had no sensitivity or irritation in my eyes at all, neither while applying or while removing.Removal was extremely easy and didn't make me feel I had to fight to get it off.Overall this is a mascara I will be sticking with and am pleased with my experience

I really like this mascara. I was using mascara which was not labeled as using clean ingredients. I switched to this one and after a few weeks, I noticed my eyelashes were longer, fuller, and healthier. The only problems I have had is it clumping my eyelashes quite a bit and it flaking throughout the day, adding to my permanent dark circles under my eyes. A lash comb fixes the clumping pretty easily and I have just learned to wipe under my eyes throughout the day to get the flakes off. Knowing the product I'm using is clean and safer than others is worth those two small inconveniences.

I think this might be my new go to mascara.I have the teeniest tiniest lashes ever, they are straight and stick out from my eyelids and without mascara I look like I have no lashes so it’s a struggle finding mascaras that make my lashes look lush.Let me start off by saying that the primer is amazing.As soon as I put it on my lashes grew over twice in length!It didn’t clump and separated my lashes like whoa( the clumping with these lash fiber or extra lengthening mascaras is always horrendous so that was a wonderful surprise), it dried in about 20 seconds and then I put on the coal black mascara.Vavoom ladies!Instant fabulous lashes.So far I have experienced zero flaking after wearing for long periods of time , it hasn’t smudged or melted when I’m dancing up a storm or getting my workout on and the length of my lashes is practically miraculous.It is not cry proof.It’s super easy to remove and doesn’t tear out any of my eyelashes though, so that’s another plus!Also, I have celiac disease and a host of other random allergies and am allergic to SO MANY products it’s ridiculous, but luckily I am not allergic to this magic mascara.I recently discovered that this doesn’t smudge on my bottom lashes either!I’m almost 40 and I have never found a mascara that didn’t smudge on my bottom lashes. I’m so oily that even waterproof ones didn’t work!I stopped wearing it on my bottom lashes for anything but photo shoots after 20yrs old because the smudging made me look like an old lady with terrible makeup skills,but now I can once again rock liner on my bottom lashes!I included a terrible picture ( I hate getting my picture taken!) and tried to crop it so you can get an idea of how amazing this mascara is( look at those lashes practically touching my brow bone!),because I know I always want to actually see the results of people using the product, so hopefully it helps. :-)Ps: I don’t have mascara on my bottom lashes in the pic as I didn’t discover it was even a possibility for me until I bought a tube for my bestie ( another oily faced queen)and she told me there was no smudging:-O

The mascara / primer duo is novel. I love the brush shapes which are thin without curve. Each brush should define the eyelashes. Because the primer and the mascara share the same tube, the lifespan of the product is short. Primer content is a bit on the dry side and doesn’t coat the brush fully. At times the primer clumps on the eyelash and I have to pull the chunk off. The mascara is heavy and always clumps. Even when attempting to put it on thinly, it clumps. A second coat of mascara is too much and I end up looking like a painted doll.There are good and bad features with this duo brand, however when I have reached my limit with the clumps, I won’t repurchase. Hint: use a small eyelash / eyebrow comb to separate and remove the clumps.Update Sept 2, 2024- the clumping became even worse and the end of life arrived. I threw the tube in the garbage. This product is not recommended.

TL;DR: For over $21, you better fill both sides of the tube. No primer = no business from me.I used this product for over a year and I enjoyed the quality of the eye makeup experience. Yes, it cost more, but I appreciated the "good values" and believed that I had chosen a company that I could trust. I was wrong.For context, I replace my mascara about every three months to help with eye health. However, each time I have reordered this product there has been less mascara and less and LESS primer. The most recent time I ordered it, the primer essentially came empty!!!!!!! So, for the last three months, I put on my mascara each day and I was unable to use the primer. This has made me so angry. Putting on my eye makeup is such a nice, daily routine to feel pretty in the morning and it just sucks because I THOUGHT I chose a company that was supposed to be better than screwing over their customers.My three months are up and I am switching back to my Maybelline because it delivers the same eye makeup result for a fraction of the cost and they have always provided me enough product. I switched from Maybelline to Honest Beauty for all the "right reasons," but Honest Beauty's lack of honesty has lost my business.
