Aircast AirHeel Ankle Support Brace (with and Without Stabilizers)

I purchased this because of tendinitis developed after an injury. it really helps, the bottom support is very nice.I love the fact I can wear it on normal shoes as it is not very bulky.I purchased the MEDIUM, I am a male, size 10 shoes and fits perfectly.Definitely, pleased with this purchase.

I have plantar fasciitis and my doctor recommended this brace because she had a a patient cure his plantar fasciitis in 2 weeks with this brace. I have been using it for about a week and have noticed a significant decline in pain. I have tried dozens of braces with no luck, if you are suffering, this is the one to buy.

It worked great. I felt relief immediately after wearing it but it popped the day after the warranty expired (31 days). I can't even figure out how it happened. I hope this was just a defective one. I will order another.Pros:-Immediate relief on with my plantar fasciitis and my Achilles.-easy to put on and take off-you can feel it workingCons:- plastic edges where the air pouches were fused together cut my skin until the became flexible (1 week). Could easily be fixed with another piece of fabric sewn around the ankle pouch.- popped the day after the warranty expired. (31 days)- can be trouble fitting into tighter shoes or boots with thick socks- must align it dead center of your Achilles and foot for maximum effectiveness.I will order again and adjust my rating depending on how the new one works

I have severe plantar fascia, and am facing surgery. In a last ditch attempt to put off surgery, after using orthotics for years, after trying the prednazone from the dr, and the cortizone shots, and exercises.....I saw such great reviews for this. It just hasn't done the trick for me, maybe my foot is just too far gone. I can feel that it would seem to lift my weight off the heel, but it just isn't enough to get me away from surgery. It seems like a well made product and an excellent idea, but not enough for my problem.

only worn it once so far, actually was able to cut the grass with it on. The air pockets underneath are comfortable and pushes air up in the chambers for my real problem of the back of my heel. Only thing was the velcro was scratching the back of my heel where it was hurting. So I put on a sock with it and that stopped that, needs a little longer sock than those short athletic socks. So far so good. We will see, putting off surgery if I can.

Worked great, at first. The 2nd week, the air bladders lost enough air that it became useless as ankle support. I am 250lbs, and only walked (no running or jumping) in the support. It says the bladders are tested up to 1000 lbs. Maybe you'll have better luck.

Plantar fasciitis pain was terrible. Felt like my heel was repeatedly hit with a hammer, every time I would take a step. Nothing else had worked--stretches, physical therapy, injections. I put the aircast on in my tennis shoe and it immediately took the pressure off my heel. Whoever invented this lightweight, simple but unbelievably effective device, I owe my life. After months of pain and depression, I could not believe something so simple worked.

I was having terrible, debilitating pain in my heel. Walking was excruciating. The Dr. prescribed this brace for my diagnosed Achilles Tendonitis.Along with a stretching regimen,a night splint, and this daily wear brace, I've managed to get this condition under control.I had the wrong brace at first, and the stretches and night splint by themselves were not enough. This brace made all the differnece in my healing. I would not be walking so comfortably now were it not for this.I'm looking forward to being completely healed soon.The only con to this brace is you really should make sure to have a double layer of clothing between the brace and your ankle. At least, for me, this has helped. I developed a sensitivity to the material of the ankle support portion of the brace, which left my ankle with a painful, itchy rash. This only lasted for a few hours, and I've made sure to have double clothing with the brace and have had no further issued.

Very comfortable in use, and makes walking a pleasure again.

As a server and Hairstylist I have developed sever plantar fasciitis over the last year. Orthotics didn't help, insoles didn't help and I've tried multiple other things. This is the first thing that worked the first time I put it on. Though I still had some pain at the end of a shift it has been drastically reduced. So happy with this purchase!

great help for planter faciatus and aids in the heeling of an irritated Achilles .

This was a life saver! Almost immediately after wearing it, my pain went away, I'm a bigger person..300+ ponds and the cast supported my weight no problem.
