Ordered this in June and by July 27 the chord stopped working today. Now have to reorder a new one so I can keep an eye on my baby in the backseat. :/ hopefully next one will last longer.

I wanted to have the system ON/OFF with a push of the button on the cigarette lighter switch. After a lot of fooling around with the connectors provided with the devise to get power to the monitor AND camera with one cable this solved the problem in a minute. It has a power connector for both...with no need to tap into taillight wring for camera power. Excellent picture quality. As I said, "PERFECT solution."

I like the fact that I can turn on my backup camera anytime for any reason. I can check my trailer tires while driving, I can leave the camera on after hook up and check my trailer as I am pulling out for any issues.

I bought this because I didn’t want to run a wire to the reverse light. It saved a lot of hassle.
