Simple and Effective stand for all Vive owners
Hello All,I would like to share my review on the Vive and Vive pro stand for the controllers and headset done by SpoSport. The item came in a typical box, with artwork displaying the product. The contents of the box where fairly minimal (5 Pieces) and simple but dont let that put you off! The stand went together in mere seconds very easly and without the need of instructions. Once all together, I simply placed my vive headset on the stand, along with the controllers and put the wire, wound up just behind the stand. The result is a well made structurley, and very minimal looking but not tacky looking stand. There is plenty of room to be able to charge the controllers on the stand also, and if like me you use silicon protectors on your vive, they still fit with no problems. For myself personally I already own a dock station also done by SpoSport so I did not need the Vive controller holds, so i simply removed these and used the unit to hold the headunit and wire, which works great and takes very minimal space. Overall there is not too much to be said, it is a simple very well made, but effective product for something that is much needed by alot of vive owners, somewhere to put your headunit rather than lying around somewhere.

A very good, well made product
This is a really well made product and keeps the vive and controllers together very neatly. It came well packaged and had only taken approximately 2 minutes to put together. I have the vive pro and you do need to move the headphones back a little so they don't interfere with the placement of the controllers. This is exactly the sort of thing I needed to keep everything together and tidy on my desk. I would definitely recommend

VR Head Stand
Purchased for my son who is constantly playing On PC VR and the head set is costly to replace As I found out which is why I purchased the head stand and it is great and does the job perfectly. It is sturdy and he uses it.

A good stand for the Vive and controllers but slightly overpriced
The plastic this stand is made from is very light, which I was concerned about at first but after mounting the headset and controllers the stand seems fairly stable from toppling over although the light plastic does allow the frame to wobble a bit when nudged. Regardless of the wobble, I think an addition of a weight in the stand's base to lower the centre of gravity would have increased overall peace of mind. The controller mounts are 3D printed but appear to be very strong. If you have your Vive controllers in an all-over silicone protective skins then they WILL NOT FIT in the controller mounts. As a workaround I ended up cutting the skins to leave only the top of the controllers protected, which I should have done sooner as this made them feel light again and it's only really the top of the controllers that need protecting.Another improvement would have been to incorporate a charging solution for the controllers, even if it was just clips at the back of the holders to secure the charging cables.Overall I'm happy with this stand as it's a nice all-in-one solution for my Vive and Controllers and does leave my desk a lot tidier.

Exactly what I wanted from a stand.
Easy to assemble, seems sturdy and most importantly holds my htc vive very securely and in a neat looking arrangement. Very pleased with this.

It works
I bought this for my son. Looked like a basic piece of plastic to me but what do I know. He loves it because it works and gives it five stars

not bad
product is pretty decent. tough and nice looking plastic. i think its slightly overpriced for a few pieces of plastic that you put together. also would have been nice if some adhesive was included for the bottom or rubber feet.

Precio alto y calidad escasa
Gusta porque queda bien el conjunto todo en su sitio, y no tener las gafas en cualquier sitio, luego los mandos y en mi caso el dispositivo wifi... pero no gusta el precio de un conjunto plastico no de alta calidad a montar.

Nice VR headset stand!
Assembly was straight forward and easy. Nice sleek look to the design but some of the the plastic parts did feel a little flimsy, and the stand felt too light with no weight at all. With my HTC Vive Pro headset mounted to it, however, the stand holds it stable and snug with parts that support both the front and back of the headset. It even includes controller holders for the Vive wands which contributes to a clean and organized look to your setup. This stand does provide a great way to show off your VR headset. Overall satisfied with the product so it deserves 5 stars.

Great weight distribution
Works great for holding my Vive and controllers. Very easy to put together (comes in 4 pieces). Plastic feels tough and sturdy. Product is well balanced and designed with great weight distribution so it doesn't feel like it'll tip over easily. The controllers slip in and out of the holders perfectly and easily. After almost 2 weeks of use I've really come to appreciate the minimalistic yet efficient design of this VR headset stand.

Nearly Perfect
I received this stand a few days ago and finally got around to getting it all set up. I suppose I should start with the shipping and packaging. It was very minimal when it comes to excess packaging which I consider a plus. It was secure and protected but without the hassle of all the extra junk that is often unneeded and only gets tossed in the trash. The art on the box itself is above average. I know most people don’t really care so much about this but lately I’ve noticed a lot of tech products have really dropped the ball on making their product look nice. Some items I’ve got recently were literally in non-descript boxes. All of the components were inside the box that was supposed to be (7 pieces in total) and even without instructions it is very intuitive on how to piece them together. The instructions are right on the back of the box and there was ALSO an insert in the box with them as well. The pieces literally just slide onto each other and fit tightly together. I picked up the product from different angles and points to see if the pieces would get dislodged (did this with and without the headset) and did not encounter any issues. I have the regular HTC Vive headset with the deluxe audio strap and it fit on the stand just as shown in the demo pictures. My head is a bit large I suppose so I did have to tighten the head strap to pull in some of the slack but it sit on there just fine and stayed when I picked up the stand. The controller holders did their job just fine as well although I will say that I have protective sleeves on my controllers which did present a bit of an issue due to their rubbery, “grippy” nature and not wanting to slide into the slots. Without the covers there was zero issue at all but if you have protective covers then you do have to finesse it a little bit. This is more an issue or result of the controller covers though rather than the product itself. I know that other people have pointed out an issue with the controllers fitting alongside their deluxe audio strap but I did not notice any issues with mine. There are two minor issues that I discovered with the product. I will point out though that both of these issues seem to be a common problem for ALL the VR stands on the market so it is not limited to this particular one by any means and would not keep me from buying a quality stand. The first issue is cable management. The stand does its job very well in holding your headset and controllers but nobody seems to have found a great solution for the huge cable that is attached to it. I suppose the best solution would be to unplug the headset from the 3-in-1 cable when you store it on the stand and then tuck the cable away somewhere else. However I do not personally like to continually remove the hatch piece on the headset to access the plugins because I don’t want to wear it out or risk snapping something. So if you leave the cable on you have to get a little creative with it. I wrapped it around the base of the stand but it would be nice if someone (and again this seems to be a problem for all of them) could develop a better built in system to deal with it. The second issue is price, which is always something a consumer has to look at. The product’s materials seem hefty and sturdy enough and made of decent quality but at $36.99 right now I feel like that may be a bit high. Once again this seems to be an issue with a lot of the VR stands currently on the market and it may just be due to how new VR still is for the average user, but it is certainly going to be an issue for some. There are a lot of DIY stands out there that one can make on their own if they are crafty enough and have the desire to do so.So my overall impression is that I’m very pleased with the material quality and the ease of the construction for the stand. It certainly does what it is designed to do (hold the headset and controllers) and that is the most important part. The only minor complaints I have are issues that all VR stands seem to face so I can only count off a small amount for that at this time. So if I take off a half point for each of those and was to rate this stand out of 10, I think I’d give it a 9 out of 10. If there was anyway the price could be brought down then it would boost the rating quite a bit.
