I have only used the regular hog casings with these, but it works great. The recipe I use is very dry, and it still didn't have any issue pushing the meat through. Sure it is isn't as powerful as some of the commercial sausage stuffers, but it is a lot cheaper as well. The only complaint is the bent at the bottom isn't smooth on the inside and you can see welding spots all over it. But it gets the job done.

save your money, this is a peice of junk. totaling garbage with no power, worse company i ever had to work with for return shipping they wanted me to pay for it!! thank god amazon stepped in and got me the return those guys are great!! nightmare, would have been nice if the machine worked but needs different gearing and a powerful motor they have alot of work to do in their development department and humane relation dept. too!!!! worse experience of my entire life. don't do it

Worked good for about 2 runs worth of summer sausage, went to make snack sticks and when the motor moves up from pressure pushing the meat through the small tube it bent one of the electrical connections in the controls and then it started to short out on the motor so it wouldn’t press down, still works with that side panel off but not as it should and the support hasent gotten back with me in 2 days, if / when they do will update!

Very easy to use! Would purchase again!
