Needs resistor to prevent hyper-flash.
I installed a clear strobe on my motorcycle for extra visibility while escorting group rides. This light mounted easily and looks discreet. It did require a resistor to avoid hyper fast flash rate.I used one meant for motorcycle led turn signals. If you are wiring into a circuit already powering led lights, separate resistor will probably not be necessary. The various flash patterns are useful and easy to switch. Seems expensive for a small thing, but it works and is holding up to high stress use no problem.

Good quality & bright.
Leds are bright and easy to work with. Multiple flash patterns, good mounting hardware. The only thing I did not like about these lights is that they did not come with a manual, they expect you to look the manual up on the website.

DO NOT BUY if you want to use steady burn
I've been buying from Speedtech for 6+ years, never had an issue with any of their products at all. BUT these are just badly designed. If you want to use the steady-burn feature (obviously one of the most important features to have in a hideaway), you have both colors light up simultaneously. So if you have a Red/White model, steady burn will get you pink. If you have a Blue/red model, you now get purple. Unless you aren't planning to use the steady burn feature at all, I would look elsewhere.

Save Money buy SpeedTech!
These lights appear to be higher quality than the brand they were replacing and yet they were a fraction of the price. Easy to install and function perfect. Great job SpeedTech!

If you order 4, 1 wont work and they will keep sending you duds.
I ordered 4 of these back in November. Long story short, one from that shipment had a faulty lens, so I sent it back and placed an order for ANOTHER one out of pocket so I could finish my project faster and deal with the return later. They ended up not giving me a full return on the one I sent back and the next one that I ordered was more dim than the rest. Now they’re holding my last return hostage until I pay shipping because they wont properly test it. Complete joke of a company.
