Confirming other reviews - great fit, great style, soles wear out VERY quickly even with light wear. Faster than other cheap faux-leather boots; they don't even last a whole winter before they start leaking in the slush. The upper is still perfect and I considered getting them re-soled, but that would run about a hundred bucks at most good cobblers. So I can just get three more pairs of these, or maybe bite the bullet and get them in real leather. Fit is great for muscular calves. Probably not quite big enough if you are very plus size, but perfect if you are usually between regular and wide calf. Shame they are so disposable, they are the perfect style for former goth/punk/emo kids who still want to shout-out their previous selves. Boots like this used to only be several hundred dollars at alt-culture stores!

What cute boots. When I ordered these I wasn't expecting much like expecting them to be really stiff or very uncomfortable because the price was so good But they're very cute. I ordered a half size up I always do in boots though. The lace up is for decoration because it has a full zip side But could be used to snug up the fit of the boot because it does function. The zippers of good quality You can tell when you zip them up. They were very easy to put on fit nicely. It has gold and accents around the string so I'm wearing I'm in a dressy situation For the holidays. Maybe I'll update this review with a picture of me at Christmas.

I just got these boots today.. I've had similar boots like these and they all tend to deteriorate the same way in the fact that the soul separates from the boot itself. Usually on the person's main favored side I should say if you want to call it that? Just depends on the way they walk. But as soon as I pick them up from the post office, I put them on in the car. They went on great! Felt great! And in my opinion look great! To whoever wrote the review about the fact that they are not leather. It says clearly in the description that they are not leather so I would suggest the next time you purchase something, you read the reviews and the item description before you buy and write a bad review that's your own bed be informed about your purchases! I will write another review after wearing these for a few days to see whether or not they hold up, or if they fall apart like other boots I've had like these. But the fit is perfect! They are comfortable! I have wide feet, and I ordered my normal size so I wouldn't necessarily suggest sizing up. As other people's are suggesting just go with what you know. To be continued.

Great boots for the price. I wear them all the time because they're comfortable and stylish. I get compliments all the time. Sole is glued on rather than stitched so they don't last more than a year or 2 (with frequent wear) but I order them over and over because at the low price, they're worth replacing.

The style is exactly what I want, but the boot itself is not worth $40. It’s really cheaply made and it’s fake leather. The style is definitely what I was looking for but the material it was made of and the quality is very poor.

I've been looking for boots to replace a similar pair like these, that I've had for years. I've ordered a few pairs that were quite structured and stiff so that they didn't feel right on me. These are soft and fit around my legs as snuggly as I tie them....exactly what I wanted. They were comfortable to walk around in, too. True to size, with enough room to insert an orthotic, as well.

false misleading, NOT LEATHER, waste of time, we have to wait for customs to release this only to find out NOT leather, all synthetic rubbish, do not buy if you don't want to be hoodwinked, Amazon will expect you to pay to send back and pay for your own petrol/vehicle costs to do so, NOT GOOD, if they were honest in the first place we wouldn't be here in the second place, buy at own risk. Synthetic doesn't let your foot breathe, doesn't stretch and breaks very quickly and easily, is really bad for the environment etc.

These are beautiful to look at but they're horribly made. 3rd day wearing mine the right heal detached while I was at work and I had to glue it back together to get through the day. Not impressed cause I liked them so much the first day that I bought 2 more pairs. I'll be returning the 2 new pairs and disputing the first pair for sure
