I was so excited to see this new Retinol Eye Cream by Eight Saints! I’m in my mid-sixties and have very dry skin, buts it’s also very sensitive. I’ve tried other retinol eye creams in the past to address “crows feet” and other signs of aging. Unfortunately, there was always some degree of irritation when using those products. I have to say, Eight Saints Retinol Eye Cream is a game changer for me! I’ve been using it daily, and not only does it provide a soft, smooth and silky feel, I have no signs of redness and irritation! The cream is incredibly light and has no scent. When applied, there is no greasy film left behind. It absorbs quickly, so there is no wait time before applying eye makeup. I am truly looking forward to the long-term results of using this product!

Ever since I began using Eight Saints, I have stopped using almost all other products. I like that everything is natural and that the ingredients are highly effective. I couldn’t believe the difference it made when I put together a regimen! It doesn’t have to be difficult because their products are so comprehensive. I really like all of their eye creams, but especially this one because retinol is really a superstar product and so important for antiaging. The interesting thing is that I have very sensitive skin and have never been able to use retinol until the Eight Saints products! (And I have tried a bunch of other products! (They would always work in the beginning, but then they would dry out my skin, and I would start breaking out.). I am not sure how they do it, but their retinol products are both effective and gentle. I don’t think it has much of a scent or if there is, it is natural and light. I also think that the consistency of the product is perfect because it is creamy enough to feel moisturizing, but not heavy. It’s a home run and I will keep using it!

I have tried all of Eight Saints eye creams and loved them all but this one is by far one of my top favorites. It gives my under eye area all the yummy goodness it needs while I sleep so I wake up looking refreshed and hydrated. The scent is very light (almost nonexistent) and pairs nicely with the Smooth Sailing Retinol Moisturizer. I love that it comes in a glass container, it shows the quality of the product and keeps it fresh. The cream is thick and creamy. The size is great, it does not take much to make a large impact. The jar should last quite a while. It is similar to the All In Eye Cream that I apply with my daytime routine. The two of them are powerhouses for my under eye area. Both have been great at keeping the fine lines at bay, my under eye looking bright and youthful. I will be keeping this one in my routine from now on.

I use Eight Saint's Smooth Sailing facial cream regularly, so I was excited to see they released a retinol eye cream! Eye creams can be tricky for me, as I have very sensitive skin around my eyes. Smooth Sailing is surprisingly gentle, with no sting! (Note: I have noticed some creams do not react well if I apply them too soon after serums, notably ones with Vitamin C, but I have had no issues with this one.) Despite the thickness of this cream, I have no problem using it nightly. It may replace my All In eye cream which I have been using for ages! The cream itself is thick and creamy and goes on a bit heavy but absorbs very well! It doesn't feel "sticky," but it does feel heavier than All In. No strong scent that I can detect, just perhaps the faintest clean scent. Since using it, I haven't seen any significant changes in the fine lines around my eyes, but it has only been two weeks! The skin is softer, however, and I have noticed no increase or deepening in fine lines. I am excited to see the results after a full use. I may edit this review with more results. A little goes a long way with this cream, just like the facial cream! It will last a while.

As a forty something I am beginning to explore retinol products, but I am always worried about irritation or sun sensitivity. I love Eight Saints, and I decided it was time to do something about the growing lines under my eyes. The glass pot do not have an applicator, which I appreciate because I find it easier to apply the perfect amount. The jar is dark which will protect it from light, and the pale yellow cream has no real smell. A little goes a long way, and it is easy to gently pat into the skin around my eyes. First of all, I find this cream to be a good moisturizer, it keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day (even in the warm dry air of a LA winter). I have not felt any irritation and I have been using it every morning since it arrives. It’s been about a week and a half, so still early in the game, but some is the fine lines around my eyes have started to soften. I’ll keep using it!
