FAB comb to use & happy pony!!
Used this on my pony "Harry" who hates having his mane pulled. Couldnt believe how easy this comb is and he actually enjoyed the experience! He looks very smart!!

Not sharp enough
Not quite what I hoped for, not great for thick manes. However, as an alternative use, it's good at lifting grease out the coat when you carefully comb through

Great tool
Our horse has to be sedated to pull his mane but with this tool he all but fell asleep and the mane looks great.

Forget using this on manes, but it’s ACE for tidying fetlocks
My mare had a very thick mane, and I was just honestly getting bored of pulling it properly (Forth Bridge springs to mind), so I bought this in the hope it might save both me and her some time. WELL:Results on the mane: honestly not really any better than proper mane pulling, and I quickly went back to using my mane comb like a proper Pony Clubber ;.)BUT this comb is A REVELATION when it came to tidying up her fetlocks, as well as “cat hairs” under her cheeks /behind knees /random little untidy patches.- hold the hair away from the horse- swipe comb down- you get a great natural looking finish - no ‘chops‘ or stubby bits of hair- takes secondsBecause, if you’re still reading, you’ll know that doing THAT with a mane comb and a pair of scissors takes hours and kills your back. And doing it with the clippers just looks horrid...So in summary: this comb is staying in my grooming kit, for supremely elegant fetlocks etc. But if you want a mane pulling shortcut, I’m not convinced by this.

Much easier than an expensive solo comb.
These are brilliant. They are so much easier to use than the expensive solo comb type gadgets. You use it in exactly the same way. Take a piece of mane, back comb it and then cut off the few remaing hairs at the length you want. I can do a reasonably thick mane in under ten minutes with one of these. No breaky plastic bits or blades to snap and a fraction of the price.

Knife folds for storage, is the same as cheaper products.
It’s ok, takes a bit of getting used to if you usually pull the mane

Handy to always have
Great little knife, very safe but very effective, my very sensitive youngster had no issues ... beats pulling manes any day n leaves a natural gradient
