All needed tools are provided. The old battery had swollen so much that the mousepad was bulging up and wouldn't work. Also there was no battery time. This new one fits perfectly and was a breeze to install. opening the case on this old unit was a pain but you just need to work slowly and make certain you remove all the case screws. This was an older windows unit and I installed Linux on it.

Fit perfectly and easy to install. We've had it for almost a year and have had no issues.

Installed battery and laptop indicated low battery at 5%. I panicked and thought battery was defective. However, I did not realize that batteries may discharge while in the warehouse and would need to be charged once you install the new battery. Seems to be working fine after charging.

My mothers laptop battery went out and we bought this one as a replacement. Works Great!

Waste of money. Battery was able to be charged for about a month and a half before it stopped holding a charge. Even when plugged in it wouldn't hold a charge and my laptop would turn off. Don't waste your money on this battery.
