15 inch plastic parachute, works like you'd expect, delivery was fairly decent took less than a week and came earlier the the estimated arrival time! Only problem with this product is that when you really start to think about it, it's over priced and really only a small plastic sheet with strings.

I bought this because one of my parachutes on the Estes Rocket I built melted a bit on one of my launches - that's what happens when you skimp on the wadding!! :-) In the end, this product is as advertised and what I expected it to be, and does what it is supposed to!! I have seen some knock stars of these Estes parachutes here on Amazon because they are plastic and not nylon - first off, if they were Nylon, they would not be $1.99, second these parachutes are not advertised as nylon, so there should be no disappointment. Sure, nylon parachutes are better, but I am putting these in a $10-$20 Estes rocket, and this parachute does the job and is the right price. I might use nylon if the rocket was more $$$. Would buy again.

I build small rockets with my grandchildren and these are colorful parachutes that they love to watch fall to earth.

Perfect for my model rocket. It is a 300 gram rocket and it lands pretty smoothly. Probably the bare minimum in size that I would buy for the weight of my rocket. Survived 3 launches so far, and many more to come.

when a 12" is not enough to prevent a hard landing and a 18" is too much for the size of field.
