This product is amazing
This dehumidifier is amazing, I have a walk-in closet, not too much of a big one, but the master bedroom has two. My husband I and live in Florida so the weather fluctuates a lot which causes a lot of humidity, especially in our closets. I had to always keep a close eye on the shoes and clothes because we started seeing mildew and mold on some shoes. Long story short, I knew I had to do something because I was tired of constantly having to clean shoes, hats, clothes and the whole closet. I’ve had this dehumidifier for almost two months now and I am very happy with it..The closets have never been so dry and free mold and mildew.The first day I plugged it and put it in the closet, it took a little while to get to work, but on the 3rd - 4th day, I noticed a difference. I leave it on 24/7 now and drain the water out every 3-4 days. You do have to keep it plugged in to run.

Does not seem to be as effective as my previous dehumidifier
The good- I like the way this dehumidifier looks and the small amount of space that it takes up. Bad - it does not seem to be as effective as the Ivation that it replaced ( but the Ivation GDM36 does seem to be rated for a slightly higher amount of cubic feet). The Ivation just stopped working- and at least for me there did not appear to be any "user serviceable" parts inside. On the whole neither one seemed incredibly powerful at removing moisture - at least not compared to a regular dehumidifier.

Container is dirty after a year of use
Got this item in June of 2019. It's been doing its job for a singular room, but awhile ago I noticed a little dark spot on the tank. Finally decided to give a shot at cleaning it today... I could quickly tell that the purple lid on the container is *not* meant to be removed. Hence my attempt at washing it from the inside by putting in soap and warm water. (Spoilers: it didn't do much good.) My boyfriend has some health issues and asthma so this is unacceptable. I'll be contacting support.

Works really well
I was pleasantly surprised! This works really well in our bedroom! I figured it would be okay, but it's actually really effective. We are in rainy Portland so the conditions are ideal for the dehumidifier, and it had already collected some water when I checked it about an hour and a half after turning it on. It was super easy to start up, it comes put together and all you do is plug it in and press the button. I love that it is tiny and cute and am so glad it is already helping! My husband swears he can tell a difference even before I told him it has collected a good bit of water. I can't speak for durability, but I will definitely update if it breaks down.

Small, lightweight device
Very small! Exactly what I wanted. It is very quiet. I don’t love the light definitely since I’m going to use it at night.Update #2 7/25/2020I’ve had and used the device exactly a year and it just stopped working. Cleaned the device, unplugged it, plugged it back in. Device would not turn on. Kind of disappointed.

Small dehumidifier for small rooms!
This product has been working wonders! I live in a very humid area and recently my air conditioning got caught up with mold and was leaving my apartment very humid. It took a while for me to fix but for the mean time I got this small lovely dehumidifier and it does a fantastic job at keeping the air dry in the room that it is in. I definitely would recommend this product if you are looking for a dehumidifier for a small room. I'm not sure how effective it would be in large rooms like living rooms but I'm sure it will still be able to do a good job. Very satisfied!

Good value and purposeful item
I just got it in the mail a few days ago and I have been running it nonstop since. It does not seem to have any issues yet. I bought it because my closet developed mold issues. I am looking forward to collecting the water for my plants! Nice and quiet too.

The plug gets so hot
my electrician friend said to return it and I do not know how to do that. I am really frustrated as I have to unplug it when gone or sleeping . I am concerned about fire. I cannot hold my hand on the plug it is so hot! I want to return it and get my money back. I gave it time and tried many things.
