Excellent Everyday Boot for a Low Price
Since I need a wider toe-box and have worn Keens forever (love them except for the price and I wear them out inside of 6 months), size becomes the deciding factor as most have a "normal" width, often a 'B'. Been though a pile of test "try's" with a bunch of boots to replace Keens, so ordered the Armadillo Model (fabric) in a 10.5W (I wear a 10.5 D-width). They fit great...even without a super-wide toe-box...but a slightly "loose" in the uppers with my foot. Saw these leather versions were on special for $43 (huh?!...wow!) so for grins ordered a pair in an 11 (not wide) thinking to test a slightly longer but "regular" width size. They fit great, no toe-box problem with the additional length. Being all leather these are built a little different than the Armadillo boot, with a slightly rounder tow and are actually all leather.Good sole, good construction, look great, and are comfortable out of the box...especially for the price. Even if they only lasted 6 months of heavy use they are easily $100+ ahead of other models, even the Lowa's I have that aren't as comfortable at $200 on a special buy (which is a well-built boot...but). If you want an all-leather boot for hiking or everyday use, these are the ticket.

OUTSTANDING VALUE FOR THIS CHINESE PRODUCT
In the past, I have usually purchased boots made in the USA. Specifically Keen boots, which I believe are made in Oregon. But last month I decided to take a chance and buy these boots which are made in China. Since receiving the boots, I have gone hiking on some very rough trails near my home and performed flawlessly. The trail I walk on a desert trail with lots of steep slopes and scree. This boot has a great knobby sole and I feel it is kept me from sliding on the loose rocks . I also like that the boot is high enough that I can lace it up around my ankles. I have twisted my ankles and these boots feel very supportive. Yet they are comfortable.Regarding sizing, I chose a half size larger than my normal. I usually wear a size 10, so I purchased a 10.5. They fit like a glove!Although I like to support American companies like Keen, I live on a fixed budget and $100 is a lot of money for me and I’m glad I saved that money on this spare boots.

Functional, Comfortable & Attractive
My husband goes through work boots with some frequency. He is very happy with this pair. They are very comfortable and appear quite durable. The fact that they are leather is fantastic. He is also very happy with the hook eyelets that go all the way to the top and make lacing easier and tighter. The loop at the back of the boot makes them easy to pull on. He is so pleased with this pair of boots that we may order a second pair.

Almost perfect
Spent 85 hours in them on a ranch while treating a horse. Sand, wet vegetation and horse stuff. Both I and the shoes are fine. They're comfortable with a non-slip, confidence-inspiring, well-balances sole that reminds work boots. I'm not a leather experst and can't confirm if it is or how premium it is, but it's mat and flexible and looks good.It is not waterproof when washed from a hose, and the lace hooks are sharp.

Most durable pair ive ever worn.
Some of the best footware Ive ever worn. The soles are thick enough so most puddles of water arnt an issue. The seams between the soles and shoe are solid enough that as long as the water doesnt go over the most forward shoelace loop into the tounge of the boot your feet wont get wet. There hasnt been any signs of rot and/or tearing.None of the shoelace holes/hooks have come loose regardless of how hard ive pulled while tightening the laces.Padding inside the shoe has held upwith very little decrompresion. The profile of the bottom is wide, and curves up slightly on both the forward and back end giving traction to back heels and tiptoes. The grip is decent enough on worn wet wood.Solid material that hasnt wrinkled too badly from flexing toes. The laces are a bit long but are durable and the ends havnt frayed the least bit.The bottoms still have some treads after heavy friction.I wouldnt call them breathable by anymeans, but I wouldnt notice if they were, they stay dry.Overall. Will buy again.

Good work boot
I've been using these boots for exactly 73 days, and the fabric on the insole inside my left book just started coming loose. Piece of the insole in that boot are slowly peeling off. I walk a rail yard, but mostly on concrete walk ways and structurally the exterior of the boot has held up. I'm just a bit disappointed that the interior insole is coming apart. They are comfortable, and warm, and provide traction and are are waterproof but the insoles need to be reinforced a bit to last longer. I walk in them for roughly 2-3 hours, 5 days a week at work. After I walk I take them off and leave them in my locker. So again, the insoles need to be reinforced. I don't regret buying them, and I would probably buy them again because of the price, and pros vs the small con of a bad insole. I would upload a photo but the fabric is coming off from the front of the boot, and unless I take it out, I can't take a photo.

Great working shoe!!
My son is in college and needed these boots and he hates boots but he loves these and he has very wide feet so they are very comfortable on him I would size up if you have wide feet. They don’t feel heavy very durable and slip resistant. He works on engines all day and he is on his feet.
