**UPDATE** So Far So Good
****UPDATE**** I am almost done with the two bottles that I bought back in April and while I can't say for certain I DO believe my hair has grown a bit. While I have not measured it (in all honesty I lost the paper with the original measurements. D'oh!) I can tell based on where it hits my back -- and the fact that I can FEEL it on my back -- that it has possibly grown. Also the hair loss is still minimal which pleases me. I am definitely going to order this again and I would definitely recommend this to others. *THIS IS A PRELIMINARY REVIEW. I WILL UPDATE IT AFTER I HAVE USED THE PRODUCT A BIT LONGER* I have been in search of a product that would help keep my hair from falling out. Now mind you it doesn't fall out in clumps but when I wash my hair there is always quite a few strands on my hands and when I comb it, it looks like a dog shed all over the sink (my husband has made comments about being surprised I'm not bald with the amount of hair I lose). Not only that but my hair just doesn't grow. The worst thing for me was seeing family at Easter and a relative commenting on my "hair cut". :( I haven't had my hair trimmed in almost a YEAR! So that goes to show how slow/non-existent the hair growth is. I have tried many, many remedies to alleviate my hair loss and help with growth: not shampooing every day and/or conditioning it on the days I don't shampoo, egg white masks, olive oil, head massage, vitamins, silk pillow cases (which I must admit does stop the pulling of the hair when I roll over) . . . .nothing seemed to work! It perplexed me because I don't use any heat products on my hair so that's not an issue and I (try) not to pull my hair back that much with elastics and I use shampoo that doesn't have sulfates. So, I did yet another internet search of products and searching through Amazon and this product caught my eye. I read the reviews -- the positive and the negative -- and decided to buy it. I mean what did I have to lose besides more hair, right? I am closing in on the end of week 2 of using this and the amount of hair that I have been losing has SIGNIFICANTLY been reduced. Where I maybe had a dozen or more strands on my hands after I was done washing now I have *maybe* three. When I run my comb through my hair -- wet or dry -- it no longer looks as though my dog shed all over the bathroom!! So far I am loving the shampoo. It has a nice, pleasant scent and it leaves my hair silky soft. I use about a nickle to a quarter size of the shampoo and a dime size of the conditioner and it is just the right amount of each and because it is sulfate free I feel comfortable washing my hair every day (I only skipped two days) and I am embarrassed to say that with the results I've had so far with respects to the significant reduction in hair loss that I look forward to washing my hair. Now I can't say whether or not I have any growth yet since it's only been roughly 2 weeks since I've been using it but I did a rough measure of the length of my hair before use. I am fairly certain though that I will be able to tell if there is growth since I put my hair up in a pony tail when at the gym and if I can feel it on my back then that means it's growing. Based on what I have experienced after two weeks of use I am hopeful that I will gain some growth. Again, I will update my review after I have used the product for a few more weeks to see if there is any other positive changes. Right now I would recommend this product to others.

Love it!
I can hardly believe it, but there is NO hair in my drain now. I've only been using it for three days. I will update periodically. My hair and scalp are so happy and healthy. My hair hasn't been like this in years!! I hope some of it grows back as well - we'll see. At first glance, the product looks sub-par because of the packaging. There are a lot of typos on the label. And it's quite costy; the bottle isn't that big for ppl who shampoo every day like me. But the proof is in the silky full mane and healthy scalp, and I've got it now. This makes the cost a bit less painful. The conditioner is equally fab, and will last a whole lot longer as you use so much less. UPDATE 3/14/15 About 2.5 weeks of use. My hair still looks pretty good, but after constant use, I developed scalpne and had to use T-Gel once to clear it up. And, a bit of hair is in the drain. Not like before, but I'm not happy with that. Also, I'm struggling to learn how to use the concentrated shampoo. The first bottle isn't even lasting a month but I put some in a different container and added water and that seems to be helping. It costs at least $55 for one month. This is expensive, but I'm still rating it at 5 stars, and I've bought a 2nd bottle of the shampoo. Other ppl are commenting on my hair, and that's a good thing. The conditioner works fine (in very small amount) as a leave in as well.

My hair hasn't felt this soft and clean in a long time.
I've been using this product for a few months now. My hair has never felt better. It feels clean and soft to the point I can't even explain. If I'm forced to use a different shampoo for reasons my hair always feels like it's covered in wax and rough. I have noticed that my hair loss has diminished considerably. As for hair regrowth, I'm not as sure. Hopefully, I will notice more growth in the future. I just know that my hair is no longer coming out in clumps. When washing my hair I have to, most times than not, wash it twice before I can get a full hair washing. The first time I use it, it doesn't completely move through my scalp. I have to do a second pass before my whole head gets completely shampooed. I'm thinking it's because it is attaching to the oils and such to get it clean. It could also be the difference in water (i.e. hard water vs soft water). The recommended amount listed on the bottle has never been enough. If you have long hair you will end up using more than it says. The only issues I have with this product are the price & the shampoo container itself. The price...well, you can see it's steep. I also travel a lot with work and I've lost more shampoo than I'm comfortable with because the cap doesn't stay shut. All I can think about when it happens is, "Wow, I just lost $ worth of shampoo." Overall, I do recommend this product if you are looking for a good shampoo & conditioner. Don't waste your money getting the 4oz bottle, trust me I did that. It's way smaller than you think it is. It's probably best to just suck it up and get the bigger bottles. You aren't going to notice a difference in anything with the 4oz bottles anyway.

Not for me
Received products on 6/16/17, but lost a bit of the shampoo* product due to either the top of the bottle not being properly sealed or not being properly shrink wrapped or due to heat from transportation. UPDATE 7/13/17: Continue to rate this as one star. Received Amazon's customer service information to resolve my issue of content loss due to their packaging and/or shipping method. As a consumer, I do not want to contact a third party to resolve the issue. I feel that this should have been resolved at the merchant/seller lever to ensure customer service. However, this seller's customer service was quick to respond to my initial review. As far as the product, one minor but insignificant issue is the label/sticker on the bottle. It tends to peel off and the print off of the label/sticker transfers onto you hands due to prolonged exposure of water. I would like to suggest that either a better label/sticker be used or to change the bottle colors in order to distinguish between shampoo and conditioner. I have used this product everyday for about a month, so this was probably not enough time to give this product a fair review. I have really long hair (down to my lower back) so it was impossible to use just a 'dime' amount. I also believe I have a big head as I wear a size 7-1/4 hat. I had to use an amount bigger than a quarter size just to apply these products to my scalp. As mentioned, I have only used this product for about a month. My physician states that an average person's hair cycle is roughly around 3 months, so I was not able to notice any new hair growth. The amount of hair fallout is still the same, as according to my physician, a person usually loses around 100 strands of hair per day. My hair feels greasy after using this product and I only applied the product to my scalp. My hair feels slightly fuller but I think this is due to that the greasy feeling. When trying to feel a difference in thickness, I would group my hair like I was about to put it in a ponytail and feel the thickness from top to bottom. My hands get a slight transfer of that greasy feeling. I do not know about you, but I do not like my hair feeling greasy at all as it makes me feel like my face is greasy too. This product was not for me so I will not continue to use it. I hope it works for the rest of you reading this review.

Hairloss decreased, flakes not so much...
I bought the 4oz size because it gave me the option to "sample" the product. I have long color treated hair and I shead worse than my dog, so any descrease to that was welcomed. I did see a small (yet noticeable) decrease to the hair loss. After reading the other reviews I was hopeful that I had found a product that could end or decrease the annoying dandruff that plagues me and my fondness for black clothing. I have tried head and shoulders, smells nice but no results. Neutrogena T/Sal tar shampoo may work but I can never get by the smell long enough to try for a continued length of time. The Neutrogena T/gel daily control has a pleasant enough smell and may help, but not eliminate the flakes. Ok, so I guess that the smell of a shampoo is a factor... The derma change shampoo and conditioner have a pleasant orange oil fragrance to them, but I don't anticipate them inspiring any " geez your hair smells terrific" comments. The lather for a sulfate free product was equal to a normal shampoo. The conditioner left my hair easy to comb, soft, and shiny. This product has its pleasantries but is far from my perfection. My search will continue.

A fabulous Organic Shampoo and Conditioner for Hair Loss.
I have been remiss due to ill-health in writing a well-deserved review for this shampoo and conditioner. Upon reordering these products for the third time this day, I felt an obligation to write about my observations/experiences with them. I have used DermaChange Shampoo and Conditioner for many months with great success. I have SLE (lupus) which is a systemic autoimmune disease. Intermittent hair loss for the past two decades is not unfamiliar to me. I have always attempted to use products that are free of harsh chemicals. Last November I was diagnosed with Telogen Effluvium, a form of non-scarring alopecia characterized by diffuse hair shedding, often acute in onset. Having endured chemotherapy with complete hair loss a few years ago, as also a variety of hair loss patterns which is the the kindest of many of lupus offerings, I was not at all alarmed when I noticed a dramatic loss of my fine, shoulder length hair. I had an extremely short hair cut, bought a wig and proceeded to research products that may assist with hair growth. I decided to give DermaChange a try. It was truly remarakbe to note how the shampoo and conditioner allowed my hair to regrow and my scalp to feel healthy again. I am not one to fuss about hair loss - there are far more serious concerns in life beyond my own self-preservation but I thought that I would at least try and see if my hair could regrow during the cycles of shedding. Being 53 and menopausal was also contributing to hair loss. I am very aware that for many hair loss can be traumatic. When I was able to work I was a clinical pharmacist and many of the patients I worked with were overwhelmed with treatment/disease/genetic related hair loss. In conclusion, I was not expecting miracles nor anticipating dramatic changes with these products. I was delighted to have a shampoo that did not lather and a conditioner that seemed more like a scalp, hair follicle and shaft treatment. Mindful of wanting to write a review this day. I gave the shampoo to my husband who has male pattern baldness typical for a 56 year old. He too lives happily non-plussed with the presence of sparse silver hair remnants. He used the shampoo today and he loved it. I have a life-partner on the DermaChange gift! Of course due to challenges of my lupus, I have again endured a large hair loss cycle but I am equipped with DermaChange, great patience and optimism, multiple hats and hope. I am so utterly grateful for having uncovered these remarkable treatments.

Absolute best shampoo and conditioner for fine, thin and colored hair!
Absolute best shampoo and conditioner for fine, thin and colored hair! I tracked my progress via pictures from the time I started to use this product seven months ago until today. The first picture showed where I had a very noticeable thinning area and where my scale was very noticeable. Today's picture shows where that thinning area is now full of hair and where my whole head of hair is thicker. Before I could only shampoo my hair every three days, because all shampoos were to harsh for my hair. With this brand I am able to shampoo everyday, and my hair is shinny, soft, tangle free and static free. Note: I had to learn from experience that for best results, use the shampoo and conditioner together daily, and be certain to thoroughly wash out the conditioned. As others have noted, the shampoo does not lather like other shampoos; however, it will still get your hair clean and soft. It is definitely safe for colored hair, and I am confident I have kept my color much longer than when using other color safe shampoos. For full disclosure, the only other change I have made since using this product is to add more iron to my diet, which I am confident helped me to stop breaking my hair. However, I am also very confident that this shampoo and conditioner helped me to grow hair in areas where it was not ever going to grow back, and it also helped repair the damage caused from the breakage. Love it, love it, love it. Please never stop making these products!!!

Tremendously Disappointing
Incredibly disappointing. I can't help but feel misled by all of the people who received samples in order to provide reviews because all of the 4 and 5 star reviews were very inaccurate. I'm definitely taking that into consideration when making future purchases. I've been using this shampoo/conditioner for about 3 weeks and don't like it at all. As far as thicker hair, increased hair growth... I have seen no results yet but acknowledge it may be too soon to judge that. What I can say is this: The smell is mild - it's not great, but it's not bad either. This shampoo does not lather at all and in order to get it through my hair I need to use quite a bit of it - which I don't like doing as it is so expensive. My other big issue is that I usually shower every other day and have never had an issue. With this product, by the 2nd day, my hair is incredibly greasy. I've never had this happen before. I simply don't feel that this product gets my hair clean. In order to see the results that are promised you are supposed to wash your hair every day, but that isn't realistic, every stylist I've ever had has says it's detrimental to wash your hair too often, and I don't want to use this product every day because it's so expensive and it will be gone in two weeks! I don't like it at all and will not be purchasing it again. Incidentally, I purchased this for my mother and she feels the same way about it. She does wash her hair everyday and therefore hasn't had the greasy hair issue I have, but she's not impressed and will not be getting it again either.
