As you can see by my photo’s I am older at 63yrs of age and very light skinned. Also with freckles as you can see one up above my lip and many across my nose as shown in my 3rd photo. I was very impressed with this Burt’s Bees, SWEET VIOLET Lip Tint. 1st I like how they secure the cover into place and make it easy to remove by just pulling on a white tag as you can see I referred to in my 2nd photo. The cap itself stays securely on but not so much as to make it hard to pop off when needed. Then you apply to your top & bottom lips, and it goes on quite smoothly with little to no effort to apply, even if you’re not in front of a mirror. Please see the final result for me in my 4th photo. While it’s subtle, the tint does, in my opinion brighten my skin, make my lips look less dry and actually look more natural. I feel it also compliments my skin tone due to the fact I am so light and anything darker would either make my skin look washed out or too brassy. It also feels like I am moisturizing my lips. I have very dry skin, hair and lips, therefore this tint is beneficial to moisturizing my lips and keeping them in a fine condition like I would use conditioner for my hair or Moisturizing Lotion for my skin. This is amazing. My daughter took one as soon as I got them. (She just said she doesn’t like the color. Ugh!) But they are the perfect color for me. I have chapstick in every spot in my life that I possibly can. But, my lips are the same color as my face, so having this tiny pop of color on them without needed a lipstick or gloss, is exactly what I was looking for. And it’s subtle enough, it looks like you have nothing on, just a natural pink lip. Thank you!

Love the emollient effects. The color is very light (too light for me) but lovely if you are looking for a natural look. The Burt's Bees tinted balms far surpass any of the higher end brands that I have tried to date.

I was surprised that this made my pale lips as pretty as they do. Soft pink, without looking gaudy. And you can't beat Burt Bees brand for lip condition.I just ordered again.I ordered sweet violet color, Light complexation and pale lips without something applied.

If you’re looking for a chapstick but also want a little color for your lips, then this product is for you! I love how subtle the color is while also adding the right amount of moisture to help prevent chapped lips throughout the winter months.I give it 4 stars because the chapstick material itself seems to be a little softer than the regular Burt’s bees chapsticks. It tends to become mushy when I keep it in my pocket. This particular one needs to be kept in a cooler environment. Other than that, I love it!

I love these lip balms better than any other brand. The balm goes on smoothly and heals chapped red lips quickly. The scents are soft and pleasing. Even the balm itself is softer and easy to apply. I believe they last longer and need less applications complete their task of healing my lips.

Great colour and feels nice on lips

I love this stuff I like it cause it’s kind of creamy and I love the color more like a natural color of your lips in that violet color
