I've purchased 5 different Kastking rod and reel combos this year. I became a huge fan because the quality seemed really great, especially on the reels. This combo was no different and I loved using it but I went to set the hook yesterday and the rod snapped into multiple pieces. I have only had it for about 2.5 months and have used it quite a bit but I store it in a rod sleeve and don't abuse it so I'm baffled as to why it would break while not under incredible stress or abuse. I haven't reached out to them to see if they'll warranty it or not but I doubt it. I'll report back if they do. Edit: Their warranty department was great to work with and they covered the rod without any question.

there's still a backlash if you do not know how to use a baitcaster..so go slow at first to reduce any birdnests..but great pole I love it!

Best spinning combo for lighter fishing it is really nice it feels like an expensive combo and handles fish great it’s great size and feel make it super nice I definitely recommend for beginners all the way to experienced anglers give it a try and it will surpass expectations

Decent rod, broke on me when I hook set a decent bass. Hopefully they have rod tips for sale or this was a waste. Edit. They reached out to me and were eager to send me a new rod. Solid customer service so I am editing my review. Hope it was just a bad batch and this new rod lasts longer.

Esta caña es increíble! Super liviana, no cansa al usarla en largas salidas de pesca, sus materiales de construcción son de calidad! Es muy delgada pero muy potente.. he enredado mi linea en un arbusto y he tirado con mucha fuerza y no se rompió la caña.. los piques se sienten y se transmiten muy bien al mango.. tienes el control total de la pesca, el carrete es una belleza! Le he puesto linea de flurocarbono de 15 libras y va super bien, En general es una caña que enamora! Todo el que la mira pregunta por ella.. es muy coqueta… algo que tuve en cuenta a la hora de comprar fue su color blanco y sabia que se iba a ensuciar el mango y asi pasa! Debes tener en cuenta que si quieres que siempre se vea blanca debes lavar el mango cada 3 usos ya que se pone negro… bueno… todo depende en el entorno que pesques en mi caso he pescado en lago con agua turbia.. lo cual ensucia mas… si el tema del sucio no te preocupa esta es tu caña!

Caught this bad boy with the KastKing Centron Lite combo and it handled perfectly! Smooth reel, strong rod, and super fun to fight a carp on. Definitely worth it for the price!

We bought this kast king rod and reel. It is nice looking but unfortunately after a month or 2 of using it often it actually snapped in 2 different places and now I’m trying to figure out how to send it back and hopefully they replace it for free.

WOW what an amazing combo at a great price! The action on it is so smooth and I've caught up to 18lb Pike so far on it and nothing has broken. It's easy enough to maintain too. Win in my books

Fantastic rod very happy with it looks sexy feels sexy and works perfect for small fish, the spinner for it is very smooth and with the rod you can feel ever little detail you want, not sure how it handles bigger stronger fish yet but once I hook one I’ll update this review.

Logré capturar la lobina más grande hasta ahora, la vara respondió bien, fuerte más flexible de lo que me gustaría, el carrete se ve bien pero ya al usarlo se siente de mala calidad comoarado con otros, se despintaron las letras pero no falló en una larga jornada de pesca así que para una caña de respaldo o primer equipo la recomiendo
