I've been using this floss forever. It's very strong and you can actually see what's coming off your teeth and when its clean. If you're into white, plastic, slippery floss this ain't for you.

At first I thought I only received one of the 2-pack, but eventually I figured out both rolls are in once box. My only complaint was that Amazon shipped in a plastic mailer which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering a plastic-free product. This is a great floss though, it's got texture so it really feels like it's cleaning and sweeping the gunk out between my teeth, and also it does not break like some of the other natural flosses.

Watch out, packaging is tiny! I accidentally almost threw the order away because I didn’t see it amongst the other orders in the Amazon box. So, apparently they are taking “environmentally friendly” seriously and avoid unnecessary wrapping.Love, love the feel of this floss! I feel it’s much gentler on the gums than the traditional one I had been using. Plus, you can see “stuff” from the teeth much better against a black floss than a white one. So I think I will stick with this brand for now.

This stuffis really great. As u floss you can see this plaque as the thread is black. Tastes great . Comes as a spool so save a floss container n switch it out. Several dentists n hygienists in the family; great product

I like the product. Just know that when you reach the end of the spool and the structure collapses, the floss will be impossible to pull out of the glass container. It's not worth the effort or is it hygienic to sort it all out so I normally just throw out the rest of the floss at that point. I wish there was a small piece of bamboo or something to keep the floss taut until the end like regular floss.Oh well. Still happy to use a sustainable natural product. Ordering again right now.

I was turned on to this by my dentist in New York City during the summer of 2019. This was in the gift package after a cleaning. After running this between two teeth, if it appears black then all is clean and move on to next gap. If there's gunk on it, wipe it off or move to next clean section of floss and clean between those teeth again. Repeat between same teeth until it comes out black with no gunk because then you know it's clean. You can't see this with the typical white floss. My new dentist in Florida had not heard of black floss before I told him about it but likes it because this gives you a clear visual of how well you're flossing. Highly recommended.

I am so happy I found this floss. I wanted a zero-waste alternative and I had bought the Dental Lace floss. Unfortunately, it was too weak for my very crowded teeth. It would constantly break and flossing became incredibly frustrating. I thought I was going to have to go back to using regular floss but thankfully I found this product. It is really strong and doesn't break at all even when going through some very tight spaces. The thread itself is more like a tape than regular floss, so it slides more easily. The flavor is very subtle and therefore a plus. The packaging is completely recyclable, even the little bag is paper. Another plus, it fits inside the Dental Lace container, so I didn't have to go and buy another product!
