This welder has been fantastic for me. I have used the mig & stick welding functions, while I am a beginner & had to refine my technique with stick welding, the machine performed well & I have used it to complete many small projects in my shop. I like the compact design & found that it was really easy to setup & use.

The HitBox is my second Mig welder. I bought the first one (Him250DPP) on AliExpress. I had a lot of trouble getting the item, so I decided to buy it on Amazon USA this time. I had some issues with thin plate welding, so I chose this model. It seems to work better for welding thin plates less than 1mm thick.

This is a pretty good welder,, just seems weaker than my 10 year old 90 amp Chicago Electric (harbor freight )This may have a more precise adjustment but the arc just seems weaker, definitely less splatter with what seems like a colder arc as I was building a car exhaust systemWorst thing is it comes with NO instructions at all, if I had no experience with other welder I'd be screwed,, one good thing was the big coupon I got,, that convinced me to try it,,Can't complain too much as the price is cheap. It's also really light weight

Welder works as shown. I got it to use the flux core for a frame job. New to welding but it has been a very easy learning curve. Wish I wouldve spend just a little extra money for a bigger version because you cannot control the wire feed specifically on this unit.

It worked well for a week and then the wire got stuck in the handle. Wrote the company and have not received a response in over a month. At this moment I would say not a good purchase.
