Been biting my nails for as long as I can remember… I’m almost 24 lol. This stuff has been the only thing to make me finally stop!!!It lasts for days (3-6 for me), even with showering, handwashing + germ-x thousands of times a day as a bedside nurse.It tastes bad (like crushed medicine maybe). Stays on your lips and teaching to stop biting your nails. However, unlike many other products, it doesn’t make your fingers smell at all. Other made my fingers smell like peppers and I couldn’t deal with that.I would buy this stuff 1000x if I could and recommend it to anyone. 10/10 for me.

Got it for my 3 year old daughter who had a bad thumb sucking habit. Would paint her nails whatever color she wanted and then put that on top of her thumbs. After a few times of trying to suck her thumb, it was no longer an issue. Even while she was sleeping! I will say it's strong and even at times when it would accidentally drop on my finger and I'd Immediately wiped it off without letting it dry, the taste would still be there 3 days later. A few months later and she still hasn't sucked her thumb since! Highly recommend

Wow! Product was recommended by dentist. My 6y son would suck on his fingers and bite his nails. After only ONE use he has stopped. Wish I found this earlier. Very happy with purchase. Taste is strong but that’s the point. Work wonders

Great product! Works very well. ONLY problem is with the screw on lid. I've had to purchase this product 3 different times because after using once the lid gets stuck. I initially thought it was because it had been stored on its side but I haven't done that with my last 2 bottles. Thought it might be that I got some of the liquid down the side when I was putting it back on with the last bottle but this recent bottle was used once (just about it 2 months ago) and I was extremely careful to make sure I didn't get any along the screw on part but the cap was so stuck that it broke when I used to pliers to open it. Would love if this problem was fixed. Going to see if I can someone get a replacement cap because I really don't want to buy it a 4th time.

I work with two kids, aged 3 and 4, and their parents were struggling to get them to stop thumb sucking, it was affecting their teeth and just gross in general. Applied this stuff one time and I haven’t seen them suck their thumbs since! The younger kid likes having her nails done and happily lets me apply it, the older one complains because she knows it tastes bad but I get it done anyway and then she doesn’t suck her thumbs anymore. It’s been a couple weeks and I have reapplied the polish every few days to help make sure the habit is broken, but even after the first application I noticed them go to suck their thumbs, make a gross face, then stop and redirect behaviour. Accidentally got some on myself and tasted it and it tastes HORRID, a weird chemical taste like you just licked bug spray or something, and it lingers a bit. I don’t feel cruel for using it, the kids get over it quick enough and it’s a better behaviour enforcement than watching them like hawks and telling them to stop every 10 minutes.

As an adult using this product to stop nail biting, it does help to stop putting fingers in mouth however if you accidentally very slightly touch mouth on accident, you’re done. You can’t use this product if you are preparing food or serving food or anything like that. Where gloves if you have to.

Honestly I didn’t think much about it until trying. I have been biting my nails since I can think. Hated the look of it and was disgusted by myself. Now I have nice looking, clean and healthy nails. Small bottle is enough!

We have to apply this daily for the effects to last more than one evening/day, but it does work well when applied again each day. My daughter has struggled with quitting thumb sucking, but this had been a tremendous help.
