Nice, Good Quality Tool
Nice, quality tool. Feels a little small and slick in my hand, but not much different in feel from my older lead-holders I still have from my old days as an engineering student. It seems more "pocket-worthy" than my oldies. Wish it had a knurled section, but I can get along with it just fine. Would I buy this again? -- For Sure. It's got a nifty little point sharpener in the end cap. Wouldn't want to rely on that in every case, but there it is. If you're not near a good point sharpener, it can get the job done.

BUY THEM! Read my review, you'll see why. Also includes: WHERE THE SHARPENER IS!
YES oh my gosh these are lovely. They are chic, write very well, and the graphite is great quality. The graphite is thick and dark. NOW, let me explain 1 thing that was VERY confusing to me...where the sharpener is. The sharpener is literally attached to the pencils. Each pencil has one. You unscrew the metal end of the pencil and see a prong. You hold the prong in one hand and the pencil-body in another. You take the pencil-body and stick the end of the graphite into the prong & TWIST. When you twist, it shaves the graphite into a point. Very strange, but extremely fulfilling. The only thing to keep in mind is that the graphite shavings will fall onto the ground, if not shaved over a garbage. Do not shave the pencil over clothing or white furniture/desk/etc. I really like these pencils, you will too. MY grandparents steal these from me all the time. OH: make sure your dogs don't get to these. Mine got to 3 of them on separate occasions. For some reason, I think dogs/animals are attracted to graphite (or something). This can cause serious damage, thank goodness my shepherd has an iron-stomach. Just something to keep in your mind. You'll love these...a lot.

Nice but very light
Overall this is a great lead holder it does feel a bit light and cheap though.

Long lasting, reliable, and honestly just cool
So I bought this very pencil 6 years ago. I removed the clip because I found it annoying but I wish I had kept it. Anyway, it takes FOREVER to get through one piece of lead. The graphite will likely decompose into radiation before I'm done with the pack of lead I bought then. I use the 2B since they're softer/darker with less effort from Staedtler, and that Lead virtually never breaks after a drop in this pencil.

A wonderful lead clutch
Looks just as pictured. Has nice weight to it. Bought this for my 11 year old daughter to see if a weighted pencil would help her with writing and it worked. Her writing skills had an almost instant improvement and her writting teacher is very impressed. She loves this lead clutch. The other cheaper clutch pencil brands I have been able to get my hands on do not compair to this one. The other brand I've tried was super light.

terrible finish
the pencil functions as it's intended, press the button, out slides the lead, but the finish is awful. noticed it was scratched, so i wiped it with a paper towel, and there went the paint. its literally tacky to the touch. no idea what they used to paint these with, but it has to be the cheapest paint they could get their hands on. for the price your better off looking elsewhere.
