NO MORE SPF INDOORS
Works like a dream. I bought the black blackout film. I read a previous review where she cleaned the window, dried it and sprayed it again with the window cleaner for the film to stick to. That idea saved me from a few gray hairs. It sticks, it stays and I don't have to wear SPF 50 indoors anymore. My only small gripe is, I wasn't paying attention to the width of the film and I received 24" wide and had to use a separate strip to cover the gap. Once you see how easy this is to use you start thinking, "Oooo, I can use this here or there and do this and that."Tip: Put a piece of scooch tape at the edge of the film to peel off the backing. It's a pain to try and pick at it to get a teensy piece to peel. You Know what I mean?

Blocks Florida Sunshine
Works well to block sunlight completely in bedroom window that faces south. Only small light leaks around the frame where material was trimmed.Suggest that you don't follow the instructions which say to measure and cut with scissors, but install like traditional window film by applying an oversize piece and trimming it to size with an razor knife.Sprayed the glass and frame with window cleaner, and wiped down with paper towel. Then sprayed with water mixed with a few drops of dish detergent, and scraped glass with single edge razor until no noises are heard from dirt or paint specs on the glass. Final cleaning with water and detergent, removed with rubber squeegee, and wiped dry with microfiber cloth to remove lint. Removed the backing sheet, resprayed glass with water and detergent mix, and applied the film. Squeegeed out the air bubbles with a plastic spreader (like for auto body filler) and trimmed the excess with a razor knife. Final pass with plastic spreader to push excess water to edges and dry the edges and frame with towel.

Does not stick !
I really hate writing a bad review. I have used so MANY of these static cling films with success that I must be honest. Yes, it is often hard to find the backing to peel off. Sometimes, it can be aggravating to get it to stick. But I have NEVER had a window film I could not conquer! I have always loved using these films. THIS ONE simply WOULD NOT STICK. I put it up, only to walk back in the room and find it curled up on the floor. EVERY SINGLE TIME. This blackout film DID blackout the room, for the few minutes it tried to stay on the window. But it was exasperating to know I literally wasted my money. And now I must figure out another way to blackout the room, as my favorite way, static film, was not possible this time. Would NOT recommend anyone purchasing this particular blackout film.

Love this stuff... 90% to 100% sun block.
Blocks out 90% as shown in the pic. Note that the sun is right behind the window. But if the ball of the sun isn't directly behind you're window, it might as well be 100%.

It's okay... but Easy Install at least.
It's okay... It does NOT 100% block out the sun. At night, it's fantastic, but any curtain can block at night. It allows sun to shine through during the day. I bought this to make it completely dark...Plus Side: Super easy installation but weird instructions. Badly translated instructions.I don't entirely recommend. It's mediocre and does not fit the item description as shown.

this product is great. No sunshine in my windows
I work off shift, No cardboard on the windows for me, this product is great. No sunshine in my windows, I can sleep like a baby in the middle of the afternoon yet with the blinds down you would never know I have sun blocked. Highly recommended that you get a second person to help install it but it's easy and I used black electrical tape around the sides for any tiny spots that peeked through.

Little difficult to install
The product arrived as expected, no problem. The difficulty I found was the lack of the measuring guide paper on the back so you can cut straight, I don't know why they don't include that. On the back of this product is a blank paper so required extra measurement and me drawing the lines in order to cut it. Maybe it is me but I took a long time doing that and the experience became to a bothering task. Yes, at the end the room is dark, not completely dark but enough for sleep during the day after a night shift.

Welcome into Darkness
This was purchased as a way to ensure my front house neighbor didn't get a special show at night when my girlfriend comes over.Once while she was over and getting dressed I realized the windows blinds were wide open and anyone could see her. So i closed them, but then realized you could still see a bit anyways , and that the light coming in from the slits on the sides of the blinds was giving my TV an annoying glare.bought this and BOOM, no more light or visibility AT ALL!I am in LOVE with how this thing works! No more worries about peeping toms, no more tv glare, no more light waking me up in the morning! If you want a window to be completely blacked out with no visibility, some heat reduction, and security buy this!
