I have tried A LOT of non-milk based protein powders, mainly vegan, and majority of them do not mix well or taste well with water. In smoothies, yes they're good, but sometimes I just need the powder and water for my macros that day. This is the first non-milk based protein powder I've had that tastes REALLY good with just water. I will say it does not mix well in things like greek yogurt, i believe that's just the nature of the powder. If you are looking for an affordable non-milk based protein powder that mixes well with just water AND has great macros, this is it!

I decided to try egg white protein powder since whey-based protein powders gave me a sensation called globus- a weird tightness in the throat that some people get from eating certain foods like dairy, from which whey protein is derived during yogurt making. I also couldn't tolerate the grittiness of other protein powders like pea protein. I'm very happy with the egg white protein powder- no grittiness, mixes very easily, no flavor that I can discern when I blend it with some almond milk, a banana, and peanut butter. Very highly recommended. I wish it was a little less expensive, but it seems consistent with other egg white protein prices and options.

This is a great protein and I like it better as a post work out shake than whey. The taste is neutral and easy to drink. I feel it’s less bloating than whey. Only problem is the sodium content which prevalent in all egg protein product across brands. Have to keep this down to 1 shake per day.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The taste makes it inedible — I was actually nauseous after one sip despite having a half serving in a giant smoothie

Unfortunately my intestines can’t tolerate cow whey protein and I can’t stand the taste and/or texture of all vegan proteins. This is a very good alternative. It mixes well, has no nasty aftertaste and is not gritty. I use it to make a morning or dessert smoothie. I use Cashew milk, Monk Fruit and a few slices of banana. It does have a little of a cooked egg smell while taking it out of the bag but that goes away immediately upon blending. It’s a bit pricy, but the 27 grams of protein per scoop makes it worth it. I recommend it.

It’s good, especially if you’re wanting something different from whey

I’ve had a hard time with brand consistency due to supply shortages. As soon as I try a new brand and like it, they seem to disappear. I’ve had horrible experiences with some of the big brands like Now Sports whose egg white powder smells and tastes fishy and also have an ammonia-like odor. So I trepidatiously tried this brand. ITS GREAT. No wretched odor. It’s a clean, neutral smell! The texture is light and not clumpy. It makes beautiful loaves of keto egg white bread and buns that don’t fall and taste perfect. Super happy and will continue buying this brand as long as it is available.

Tried this since I’m trying clean protein powders. Has no flavor but it definitely gave me gas bubbles!
