Amdro Mole & Gopher Bait 1 LB, 100510486, Black label

I have bought three or four containers of this mole killer, and I found out you have to really be consistent with applying the pellets. I found the holes they were coming out of the ground so they could come eat my birdseed on the ground. Every five days I put a bunch of pellets in each hole and lo and behold they’re all dead! I cannot recommend this more killer more! And it’s reasonably priced!

This product works very good. If the instructions are followed the results are as expected.

I was in a big box hardware store looking over a large array of gopher/mole killer products. Another guy walked up, grabbed two of these AMDRO bait boxes and walked away. I figured he wouldn't have done that unless he already used this product, and it worked. So I bought some.That was several years ago.Every time I see a mound of dirt in the lawn I start by grabbing handfuls of the dirt and tossing it across the lawn to distribute it. When I've reduced the mound to only about 5 or 6 inches across I use a small rake to lift the grass back into place around the hole (which isn't yet exposed). This minimizes the visual impact of the damage to the lawn. Eventually the grass will refill that area.Then I take my poking tool and probe for the tunnel. When I find the tunnel I pour in about a tablespoon or two of this bait and cover the hole. If the creature comes back to that area of it's tunnel it will be attracted to the bait, eat it, and die. The animal may not come back there and may create another mound the next day. I just repeat the process. I may have to do this four or five times until the digging stops. I figure there are dead moles under the grass - fertilizer! And I don't have to deal with the carcass.Using this method I have rid our lawns of the critters. The lawn will be gopher/mole free for months or even the rest of the year.

After using this product moles still exist in our yard placed every hole and around every known area, this product was not useful

We have an organic fertilized healthy yard for our birds which brings the moles to eat earthworms. I've followed directions and placed Amdro in all the tunnels, recovering my opening not smashing it. So far so good. I've smelled what may be dead carcasses on occassion, but underground for about a couple hours sometimes. But at least I know they're already buried. This has to be applied if I see a tunnel break in the soil again.

Did the job on the second application. Bothersome pests under my raised veggie boxes are GONE.Easy to apply/distribute and very effective. Wore gloves and applied about a cup of granules right into animal hole. After 2nd application....no more animals invading my vegetable garden.
