HEPHEAS Black Combat Tourniquet That Stops Bleeding from Life Threatening in Hunting and Hiking.

As a doc that works in a small ER, a federal prison and hp train military physicians I have experience with several tourniquets but mostly the NEAR brand CAT. I purchased one of these to test and play with with plans to store in my cats and at my church. It's very hard to tell the difference on a quick glance from others other than seeing no manufacturer date. It feels like good quality. The real issue is will it work when your life depends on it. As long as it gets tight without breaking it's a good tourniquet. I put a towel around a foam roller to simulate a leg and I cranked on it as tight as I could. I had the windless bending the same way other brands to before you get tight enough to ain hemostasis. In the end I saw no signs of failure or excess stress. After my test I have ordered seven more.

As a former paramedic, I think this could save someone's life. I tried it on my own leg (I'm not small ) and it seems well-made and solid. I find it interesting that the positive reviews are from people who have actually used it, while the negative reviews are from people saying "OMG it's from China, it must be horrible".

It is very lightweight and easy to carry. This tourniquet uses a windlass system and very adjustable. I do think its a great tourniquet and works well but you need to know how to use it in the proper manor.It is adjustable enough to go around a small arm all the way up to a pretty thick thigh. Excellent quality product at a very inexpensive price. I have purchased this for my every day carry because I am a CCW holder and it is just smart to be prepared for the aftermath of any situations where you have had to defend yourself. I have never had to use this product and I hope that I never do but I have trained with it and know it to be a good product that will function perfectly if ever the time comes.

Great training tool, but NOT FOR FIELD USE! I gave it five starts because I never intended on using it for field work, only training, and it has served me well for that purpose! It is too flimsy to hold up to actual emergency use.

Great TQ. Was very speculative on buying this due to the fact that there are so many knock offs that can potentially kill you instead of aid you. This Tourniquet met exceeded far above my expectations and I'm very pleased with the built and durability of this TQ. Great buy.

Seems like it will work well. Putting it in my first aid kit that stays in my car! Hopefully I'll never have to use it, but you never know!

Love this tourniquet. I have these one on my plate carrier and on my second line also. Made very well and very easy to use. Will be recommending these to co workers
