This extension rod technically works, but it came with a few frustrating issues. The wiring was backwards, which made installation more confusing than it needed to be. It also caused the fan to sway a bit once running, which was unexpected and kind of annoying. Putting it together was more of a hassle than I anticipated—definitely not as straightforward as it should be. Once installed, it functions fine, but I wouldn't call it a smooth experience.Color matched the fan we purchased and the quality seemed fine. It fit together fine as well.
