Immediate Comfort & Audio Upgrade (Recommended buy for Sennheiser Momentum 4 buyers)
I purchased these Wicked Cushions replacement pads for my Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones after reading some great reviews, and they did not disappoint. The stock pads aren’t necessarily bad, but they tend to get warm and a bit uncomfortable after a while. In contrast, these pads from Wicked Cushions felt noticeably cooler straight out of the packaging and stayed comfortable even during long listening sessions. After 30–45 minutes, they did warm up slightly, but I still felt a subtle coolness around my ears, which was a nice touch. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to notice a slight improvement in sound quality, specifically that the bass felt deeper and the overall clarity seemed better. It wasn’t a drastic change, but enough to enhance the listening experience. Overall, I give this a solid 5/5. The comfort upgrade alone is worth it, and the added audio clarity makes it an even better value. Highly recommended if you're looking to improve your Momentum 4s. I used ChatGPT to write my overall experience because I don't feel like writing it out lol, BUT personally it was nice man, the coolness sort of renews itself like once second its slight warmth and the coolness is back almost as if it revolves around the gel pad, The mic still sounds good confirmed after sitting on a call with the bae and the on/off feature when you take off your headphones still detects as normal with no drop in feature quality so dont worry about if its not gonna be able to detect when it's on, I have yet to have that issue either. ALSO IT'S COMFY, but you might have to get used to the cold feeling around your ear, somewhat might bother people who haven't used something like this before. Fit snug and the size was basically the same as the original.

Comfy, cooler than stock, minor sound changes, but a great buy.
Wicked Cushions Freeze earpads, across the board, add weight to your headsets. You need to know that going into it. Whether that tradeoff is worth it to you depends on your use case (the ol' YMMV). I feel they are a nice change from stock and worth it. With the Momentum 4, the stock earpads are soft and squishy and comfy, provide a great seal and isolation (even with glasses), but are not the most breathable and become pretty hot and sweaty after a bit, especially in warmer weather. Enter the WC Freeze gel pads! I've worn the M4's with the WC pads for a few extended periods and many short periods over the course of several weeks, and they are definitely cooler and more breathable. I find them just as comfortable as the original pads, but it's a different comfort - they're firmer, but still squishy enough to get a good seal, and give your ear a bit more room in the cup. The WC Pads do affect the ANC on the M4, but only slightly - I'd estimate it's about 10% less effective with the WC pads vs. stock, so not a big difference for me, but I can see some having an issue with it in a louder environment. If it's your average office or monotonous hum sound (engine, subway, plane, etc), I'm not sure it will be noticeable. With regards to the M4's sound signature, there is a subtle overall change in the sound. First, please understand that perception of sound is a very personal thing, and for me the WC Freeze smoothed the low end bass out a little, and brought the mid bass forward a little, and barely smoothed out the top end. I also feel it slightly widened the sound stage, but that's a difficult thing to measure with closed-back, noise canceling headphones. Ultimately, it's more of a subtle change from stock that is probably more noticeable to audiophiles, but the change is less noticeable for most people that aren't reading a squig line and fussing over the Hz.

better than original earpads.
i dunno if this helps, but i found a more comfortable direction for the earpads. at first, i had the stitching of the earpads facing downwards, and they hurt my ears after wearing them for a little bit. on a whim after cleaning, i rotated the earpads so that the stitching now faces upwards and its made a world of difference. i wore the headphones overnight and they havent hurt my ears at all. before i would constantly adjust the headband to relive pressure on my ears, but now, i can wear the comfortably for hours, just like i used to with the mx4.

So much better than the original earpads!
These are super comfy! The ear holes (is that the right term?) is a little bigger, so it doesn't put any pressure at all on my ears. The installation process is incredibly easy, the old ear pads snap off, and the new ones snap on (good job Sennheiser!). Took less than 3 minutes to replace both sides. Just make sure you snap them on properly, cause my first go, noise cancelling wasn't working in my left ear. I just needed to push the snaps down a little harder. After hours and hours and hours of wearing my headphones, my ears aren't hot, there isn't any pressure on them, and they're far more comfy than the original. The quality feels nice, it seems that they will last a long time, and there is a nice snug fit around my ears. I've already recommended these to several friends.

Fixes the comfort issues of the M4s
Excellent. Made the M4's go from nearly unwearable after 20 minutes to being able to be worn all day long. They don't look as 'good' as the original pads, but for functionality are wonderful. My ears now fit inside of the cups and the temperature issues of the original pads are eliminated. The extra space in the cups might interfere with the head detect, but I have this disabled anyway. No perceptual difference in sound quality or ANC. Highly recommend if you have had issues with comfort or heat build up of the M4s.

Sloppy fabric attachment
These are definitely more comfortable than the stock pads. However they do affect both the isolation and the tone. More noise leaks in from the outside and the bass response is reduced. The EQ can adjust for the tone for the most part. My biggest complaint is that the foam/fabric attachment was sloppy. The fabric partially covered some of the tab holes so that the pad would not snap in. I had to trim with a knife. I expected better at this price for pads.

Very comfortable replacement for my Momentum 4 earpads. Slightly larger for my bigger ears.
I purchased these because the company commented on Reddit about the size, that these were larger than the standard ear cups for the Momentum 4 and so would fit larger ears. I was struggling with my new headphones because they sat ON my ears instead of around them. So I took a chance. I'm glad I did! Installation was easy with these ear pads; Sennheiser finally modified their headphones to have click-on/click-off pads for easy replacement. These look great too - the pattern is very 90s without being overly gaudy. The cushions are super comfortable and very high quality. Since it uses a fabric instead of pleather/vinyl where it comes in contact with your ears, it feels cooler and is easier to clean, and won't start falling apart after a couple of months. I'm happy with the value and quality of the product.

Massively improved comfort and sound quality
These earmuffs have greatly exceeded my expectations. I ordered them hoping that they would be roomier that the original ones - my ears don't quite fit in those and start hurting badly after 30 minutes of use. These expectations were met, my ears are much more comfortable now. What I didn't expect was how much these earpads expanded and widened the soundstage! Every instrument is now distinct and easy to position - like I am sitting surrounded by the orchestra! It also feels like my favorite classical compositions sound more detailed. This is a HUGE ugrade for just an additional 5% of my headphones' original cost. I would recommend these earpads to anyone looking to enhance both listening comfort and sound quality of their Momentum 4 headphones.
