I absolutely love this foundation! As someone who's 39, I’ve been on the lookout for a formula that provides great coverage without settling into fine lines or looking cakey, and this one has completely exceeded my expectations. The texture is so smooth and lightweight, yet it gives me the perfect amount of coverage to even out my complexion without feeling heavy. What really impressed me is how hydrating it feels, which is a must for my skin as I’ve gotten older. It doesn’t dry me out or highlight any dry patches, which I’ve had trouble with in the past. The finish is beautiful—natural and dewy, but not greasy, and it lasts all day without fading or getting patchy. I also love that it doesn’t settle into fine lines around my eyes or mouth, which is something I’ve been particularly sensitive to lately. The foundation feels comfortable and breathable, which makes it ideal for daily wear. Plus, it blends seamlessly and has a nice buildable coverage that can go from light to medium, depending on the look I’m going for. In my first experience with ordering bareMinerals powder foundation, I ordered the color according to the marketing photos that I thought would match my complexion. As you can see from my attached photos, the actual product is considerably darker. The actual powder that I got matches number 60, and I ordered number 30. I'm going to reorder and either get number 20 cool, or 15 cool. Both look too light but I have a feeling one of those would be perfect. Once I discover what the correct color is, I would definitely stick with this because it's a great foundation and it promises full coverage, and to stay put. So bottom line, my suggestion is to possibly order a shade lighter than you think. Marketing photos are off.

I’m retired now and I stopped wearing much makeup for a while. But, now I’m back to wearing some makeup and I like the bareMinerals line in general. This is a very nice, fine powder that provides excellent coverage without looking like a heavy mask on your face. I think it’s especially nice for us mature ladies, but it would work equally as well with younger ladies. The next time, I might buy the next deeper color. But, I would recommend this.

My local Sephora doesn’t carry BareMinerals so I had to give it my best guess with the shadefinder. I think I did pretty good with what I picked. I’ve used this brand for 21 years and this is by far my new favorite product. Outstanding coverage for a powder and I feel like I’m not using or wasting a lot of product. My under eyes look great from this considering I don’t use concealer. I applied with a brush and it looks amazing, didn’t even need the mineral veil. Love this!

This is an excellent powder foundation! I'm 42 and this is my first time ever purchasing and wearing foundation. I've always kept my makeup natural in order to keep my skin as healthy as possible. I wear some concealer and blush, but never foundation. Two years ago, I was fortunate enough to be a contestant on the new Fox game show, Snake Oil. The professional makeup artist used foundation on my face and I was astonished at what a difference it made in polishing the overall appearance of my face. So I finally decided to pull the trigger recently with this product. I was anxious about the color match and the matte finish, but I'm happy with the results. This makeup is very smooth and lightweight, effectively covering blemishes, imperfections, sun spots, red spots, scars, and dark underye circles. I like light coverage, but this can be easily adjusted according to your preferred coverage. It lasts a long time and can be used for quick touch-ups throughout the day/night. I love the natural finish and how the powder doesn't settle in fine lines easily. My face doesn't look like it's covered in makeup, and my skin feels like it can breathe and sweat without interference. I'm a fan of the ingredients, which are better/less toxic than other popular makeup brands. I'm thrilled to have purchased this makeup product! I would 100% recommend it. It's fantastic, and even better than I'd hoped!😊 Update: In under 2 months, the compact fell from my hands about a foot from the floor and the powder instantly broke apart and crumbled. I'm unable to use it now and I'm bummed.😕 I paid about $28 for it on sale and now it costs about $20 more than that. I can't justify paying that much for this. Bare Minerals' compacts are all extremely fragile. I just purchased a blush compact from them and that crumbled apart after a single use, after a short fall ONto my countertop. I love their products, but this is becoming a recurring problem and a waste of money.

I have been using this pressed powder for about 7 years. I will probably never switch to anything else because I love it so much. I have combo skin with an oily t-zone. I do use a medium-light liquid coverage foundation underneath this powder. But I love the way this powder sets and does not settle into fine lines, and lasts!!!! I usually have my makeup on for 12-14 hrs a day. I also have sensitive skin, and this has never once clogged my pores or caused any irritations. Occasionally, I will use it on its own when I do not have time to do my full makeup, and I love the way it evens out my skin tone. I use the light warm color. The pricing has definitely gone up over the years, however so has everything else. I will continue to buy for years to come! Also worth mentioning, 1 compact of this lasts me nearly 5-6 months with every day wear.

I order this every 4-5 months, and have used it for years. It is my favorite powder because it is lightweight, natural looking, and gives just enough coverage for my aging skin. Highly recommend.
