Bought it as a Christmas gift for my brother's kid. It was a hit! They love sea animals and this did not disappoint. It is recommended to run it for a couple days after setting it up for the jellyfish to move properly. Make sure you plug it in during that time. We used batteries to begin with and got less than a day on them (granted, it stayed on until the batteries died, so not bad on just batteries). You can also cycle through different color lights. So even if you want a cool looking lamp or don't want the hassle of real fish, you can go with this. Definitely worth the price.

This lamp is SO COOL!!! I bought it for my classroom but set it up at home first to check it out. I think I’ll need to buy another at some point because my cats absolutely loved it😂 I know my students will too! Very fun and calming! Super cute, durable, easy to set up. The lights are super cool and you can have it on a rainbow changing setting, or set to a specific color. Mine did show up without a lid, however the company was super quick to help me resolve the issue!! Highly recommend this lamp!

Looks and works very well. Silent and relaxing. 6 months in, I did have a problem where the motor stopped. I contacted the company through Amazon and received a quick response and offer of a replacement. I received the replacement 3 days later. I am very happy with the timeliness and quality of response from the seller. I ended up taking the broken one apart just to see, and the pump is a nice quality brushless pump. There was a bit of foam (from the built in filter) lodged against the impeller. I removed the foam and reassembled and it works fine again. It looks nicely made inside and out.

This such a great item. My kids want fish but don’t want to take care of them so this is the perfect solution. We don’t put all the fish in so we can add more and pretend we bought some more. We don’t fill all the way with water because i don’t want it to get spilled but still works. It also doubles as a night light because of the lights. It is so cool and mesmerizing to watch. Definitely worth the money.

Such a cute light! And super easy to set up, you add water and a few things. You can change the colors so my kids take turns picking a color daily. Very cute and works as a night light too!

I purchased this product on July 31st. I just started using it two weeks ago. It was so pretty and cool and was working fine. I turned it on yesterday and it did not work. I switched outlets and checked the cords and it still wouldn’t work. Today I put batteries in it and it started to work, but no bubbles. About an hour later I went to my desk and it was no longer working. I should have used it when I first purchased it so that I could return it. It was a waste of money, because it didn’t last.

We received the jellyfish lamp very quickly and love it. It's a fairly large tank and lights up beautifully! There are two steps needed before you can get your tank up and running. So be prepared that you can't just start it immediately. First you need to soak the jellyfish in dish soap for 4-8 hours to soften them up, and rinse them very well after. Second, you need to fill the tank with distilled or filtered water to avoid cloudiness. Once we got our tank running we were so impressed! The jellyfish truly dance around inside. It's mesmerizing to watch and really helps our daughter calm down at bedtime. The tank will run for 4 hours and then auto shut off. There are lots of different light combinations. We love when it just cycles through all of them. I would also like to note that the motor sound is audible and turns on and off every 20-30 seconds or so to keep the jellyfish moving around. But we found it wasn't a problem for our daughter when trying to fall asleep. Overall we're super happy with this purchase!

This is a great lil investment. I find it relaxing to watch while going to sleep. The colors are bright & very pretty. The jelly fish I got with mine have florescent yellow & pink markings which I love. This would make a great gift for kids & adults alike & takes up very little space. Very simple to use, just fill to desired water level & plugin & turn it on, just that simple. I do suggest placing the jelly fish in top first as it eliminates air build up in the fish & they move better, when the head is filled with water. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a fish tank but doesn't have the room for one or just because you want something not everyone would have.

This is actually a nice product. It has a low mechanical hum when the water circulates which turns on and off. An important thing to know if you are using this as a night light for a child's room, is it shuts itsself off after a few hours. So if the child wakes in the night it might be off/dark. So better have a back up. The soft glow is nice.

Definitely cost too much, not as big as I thought, if it was bigger it would be more worth the price. It’s cute though, lots of colours to change it too, the plastic fix are very loud, and the noises the tank makes it’s a bit loud too, I recommend turning it off before bed.
