This battery looks good. Voltage read a little over 12V when delivered.Unfortunately, I didn't think about Black and Decker designing multiple versions of a 12V battery. This one doesn't fit my tool which is my mistake.I charged it using a lab power supply (assuming it is 10 cells ) and then did a discharge test. The battery held up fine to my testing. So it appears to be a good safe battery design.
