ASUS ZenFone Max Plus (ZB570) - 5.7” 1920x1080-3GB RAM - 32GB storage - LTE Unlocked Dual SIM Cell Phone - US Warranty - Black (Renewed)

I had a ZenFone 2, and my wife has the ZenFone 4 Max. I had some issues due to rooting my old phone (I messed up and it's stuck in boot loop), but I needed a new one anyway. This thing has been fantastic so far! Great cameras, very responsive, nice feel, and even though refurbished, everything seems to work great.I do have one complaint though, but not about the phone: It only came with the normal USB cable and a power brick. It was supposed to come with a reverse charging cable (OTG - On The Go cable), as mentioned in the bullet point about the battery capacity (says included). It also says that the OTG cable is included in this model on the product comparison grid. So, I'm filing a report on that, but I wasn't planning to use that much anyway. It just would have been nice to have.

The phone is performing as it is described, even though is refurbished it shows no signs nor apparent defects. The only thing that was missing was the original packaging and the earphones, which I am not sure they are included in the original set. The screen is big on a small frame, definitely not the brightest or punchier in the market but your money is well worthed.

I needed a phone ASAP when my last one broke. This is a fine phone but I didn't have a case and ultimately broke the screen after 6 months (dropped on pavement... again.) Knowing how good some of the other ZenFones are I can't in good conscience leave a higher review. I take 3 stars to mean "meets expectations", and that's exactly what this did for me

I upgraded this phone because I had to since my Zenfone 2 laser became useless. I got so slow it could not even load the camera and sometimes took about 15 seconds to just load the phone and that's after a full reset. but I've always liked this company this is the fourth phone in a row I've had by Asus.The screen looks good the performance is way better than the previous phone I had. I have the exact same apps installed that I had on my last phone and this phone has not slowed down at the least. I think the main reason is the ram, 3 gigs is almost required on phones nowadays to be able to run smoothly.

I go through phones like women go through purses. A new one every 3 to 6 months. This Asus phone is the worst one I've every owned. I loved the Zenfone 2 btw. Camera is horrible. Can't even get a crisp photo in good light. They all have blur. Recording a video you'll find it focusing and refocusing over and over without the camera even moving. Speakerphone is so quiet it'll make you wonder if you even turned on speakerphone. Can't get the DATA ROAMING notification to stop showing. The size alone will make you cry. I was expecting a big phone. I don't know how this is 5.7". It's smaller than my LG V10 and every other phone I've owned in the last 2 years. Very disappointed with Asus with this phone

Although its not the latest model, it was the top shelf when it was released, it was worth the investment and i don't have to have the latest and the greatest device, this was definitely the way to go.
