I wouldn't be surprised if this thing could hold a dump truck, it is rugged and heavy duty holder, I brought this for my tablet that's coming in today

Very nice and works really good

This thing is sturdy but relies on a balanced adjustment involve 3 separate tightening knobs, allowing a lot of variation in movement. I struck it on the edge of my desk next to my bed so I could swing it back and forth. I did not even need the enclosed smooth mounting surface kit. In fact, although I didn't try too hard, I could not get the suction cup to release from my desk. Since it is fine where it is, I won't bother it. With or without the mounting surface, it should stay put. Easy to remove and return 13" ipad to bracket.

Very durable and compact. Actually, it seems to be the best owned, so far. It easily accepts my mobile phone or small tablet. And holds them securely even while still in their cases. Great suction, some components like the ball joints for adjusting position are metal. Plastic joints weaken over time and eventually break. I set these joints and haven't had to retighten them since it was installed. I mounted it on the underside of the overhead storage compartment near the reaview mirror so its positioned at eye level. This also keeps the sun's heat from affecting the suction mount so severely as compared to being mounted on the dashboard behind the winshield. I believe this should last for quite a while. If it ever fails. I'm sure I will've gotten my money's worth. And would likely just get an identical replacment. It's working just that well.

Bought one and a piece was missing so returned. Bought another and find it works reasonably well. Use with a tablet for driving directions in motor homes. To hold weight of tablet you must really tighten which then makes it inflexible to enter new data. It is quality and serves our needs but wish there was a middle ground where you can change position without having to loosen and retighten

I use this to hold my ipad to my shower wall (outside the shower) and it's PERFECT! Make sure you clean the surface and know exactly where you're going to place this because once it's there, it will stay there! I use this every day and put my ipad in the holder daily and take it out to continue watching my videos as I do my daily routine - and it is still SOLIDLY holding on to the glass shower wall. The suction cup has some sticky/ tacky adhesive to it to help hold it in place, so l wouldn't use it on a car dashboard or a smooth painted wall - no idea what that'll do over time. But if you put it on clean glass it'll stay in place forever! (Until you release the hefty suction cup). I work in Film and TV and l can see other uses for this as well: holding lights, using different ball jointed arms to hold flags and other accessories. I'd trust this to hold onto any small device - even the large iPad Pro is held solidly. Buy this with confidence!

Only works if you plan on leaving it the first place you stick it to. Don’t suction very well at all once you remove it because all the adhesive gets dirty and won’t stick to anything. I thought it was supposed to rely on the suction but it doesn’t.

This mount is amazing honestly!! Like I've been using it with a portable monitor in my semi truck and it stays in places even with me on the go. The build quality and design of it is great to the suction sticks to near everything in my sleeper along with it being sturdy and able to rotate and fit anywhere I've needed it.

This product is heavy duty. Made of aluminum and Stainless Steel making it durable, flexible ( it can be positioned in multi angles) and robust, what I really like and appreciate with this mount is the ability to take off the tablet mount and put on a magnet on it, the pieces are interchangeable giving you more options to use the product. So for anyone who has ever bought a cheap and useless mount- this specific mount will not disappoint. Thank you for reading my review.

It delivers what it says in the description. It is the product you need in a big truck, in an RV, or in a work/semi truck: it made for heavy duty applications, it is overkill in a passenger vehicle. Easy to apply and easy to use, works fine with tablets/iPads. Great product, recommended!
