This is the best thing ever! It works so good and makes eating pistachios so much easier. Super small and really easy to use. Very light weight and good quality stainless steel! Great price, you get 5 for $10, I gave a few to my friends, left one at work, and another one at home. I definitely recommend this. Pistachios in the shell taste so much better than the shelled ones, so I’m definitely happy!

This is incredibly useful if you eat a lot of nuts. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lifted up the nails on my thumbs trying to open stubborn pistachios.There’s a little bit of a technique in using this. You need to grip the pistachio with your hand just right, but once you get it down, this is much easier than the traditional way.This is also useful for more than just pistachios. It really helps with stubborn almonds, and cleaning walnuts out of shells.The tools are really well-made and high-quality. I can see one of these lasting a lifetime. The fact that you got five of these, you’ll never need to purchase any more ever again.I would highly recommend getting a set of these if you need a lot of nuts!

Finally I can stop clipping my broken or chipped thumbnails after trying to open some of the tightly locked pistachios! Every bag has some of these imperfectly cracked nuts. If you're like me you hate to give up on even one of them. So I had a habit of forcing my thumbnails into the slight cracks and cranking down on them --frequently resulting in broken nails, some chipped so deeply that I was forced to cut my cuticle down to the quick.This well-made tool is easy once you get used to it. Simply slide the sharp spade shaped end into the crack, hold the nut firmly with your off-hand, and twist the handle until the nut finishes cracking and opening. Bingo! No more wasted pistachios unless they have no crack at all. I tend to throw those away since using a traditional nut cracker tends to smash the nut along with the shell. Chewing the mashed up result can damage your teeth or digestive system.

Work better than other openers.

A great tool to separate the shell when only a tiny crack is visible. Will defiantly save on finger nails.
