Works well but apply in the shade.
Product works well enough. I wish the instructions would have made it clear that if you are applying it in direct sunlight that you should be prepared for the resin to instantly cure in the syringe. I am glad I purchased two since the first attempt was a learning experience.

“Far from a complete repair”
So I followed the instructions to the letter. The problems began with the valve. It didn’t maintain negative pressure so when I went to apply the repair liquid I had to inject the liquid rather than the negative pressure drawing it in. Also the repair liquid set up so fast it didn’t penetrate the crack completely. The directions say the repair liquid can be cured using a ultraviolet light. That might be a better process since you can do it in your garage out of the sun and control when the curing process begins. The crack is an improvement compared to how it was but far from a complete repair. See “Before and After” pictures.

Best I have Tried
This is the best kit I have tried. I used the other kind, where you leave the syringe for 10 minutes and such, but those kits do not create enough suction to properly vacuum out the crack. This one you can pump multiple times to get really good vacuum in the crack. Also, they give you a lot of resin, much more than the other kits.2 notes. First, do not slice with the blade over the pit. Clean around the pit leaving about 2-5 mm of extra material after this last step. Second, use a buffer with clear coat buffing compound to finish the job. That's the only way you'll get it to look nice and clear. The kit doesn't come with a buffer and compound, but you can get those for about $50. Considering that a new windshield will run you $100-200 (if you shop around) it's not the best deal, but it's quick and easy, and economical if you already have a buffer or can borrow one.

Junk - didn't work.
I've used these type of windshield repair kits before, and this is the first time it failed. Directions are poor (why can't these guys proofread?), supplied glue does not re-seal (so don't plan on using for more than one crack, unless it's the same day), and it's just a poorly designed mechanism for creating a vacuum and injecting the resin. The Harbor Freight one worked much better; sadly, they don't sell it any more. Now to try to find one that does work as advertised...

Incomplete kit
Received this kit for 2 small chips on my windshield, came with 2 adhesive pads the applicator seal, 2 plastic overs but no needle in syringe or box at all, barely enough fluid in the container to fill one chip with the provided seal, complete waste of my time and money.

It didn't work.
It claims to be able to fill cracks, and different chips in windshields. I used it on a 3/4" star-shaped crack, removing loose bits of glass first and making sure there was as much vacuum as possible. The resin barely filled the centre of the crack, didn't fill in any of the outer star and when it was removed, pulled more glass out. I wish I had just taken it to an auto shop; since I tried this and it didn't work, it cannot be repaired by a shop. The windshield has to be replaced.

Fixed my Mercedes. No more $1300 windshields
My Mercedes has some sort of crystalline windshield that seems to crack easily. It was $1300 to replace. I had 2 chips out and decided to give this a go. It works fabulous. Please read the directions and watch a few videos online. Producing a vacuum is key. Once you’ve made the vacuum seal, allow the product to penetrate for about 15 minutes. I actually sucked out the air and inserted the product a few times.
