As Advertised, Awesome Condition, Awesome Customer Service !!
As advertised, product was in awesome condition at an unbeatable price! Awesome customer service as well. Charger was defective, from being wrapped too tightly, which is completely understandable in my opinion with a used charger. So I contacted Avenue Computers via Amazon and they immediately sent a replacement charger!

Defective Renewed Product - Buyer Beware
Bought a refurbished tablet from this vendor about six months ago, specifically for use during travel. I booted it up played around a bit and installed a couple or apps I meant to use on it, everything looked fine at a glance. Then I put it on a shelf and didn't use it again until I hit the road a week or so ago. It starts out fine...right up until it gets even slightly warm. Then it completely bugs out. The screen jitters and shakes, making it impossible to read text or see an image clearly. The whole tablet basically becomes useless until you turn it off and let it sit for 20 minutes. That then buys you another 10 minutes of use before it fails again.I did my best to trouble shoot the issue from a software angle, including performing a factory reset and fiddling around with the drivers and settings. Nothing changed. I came to learn, per googleing the model, that this shaking thing is caused by a well known hardware issue with the surface pro 4. Microsoft came clean about it years ago. I did not really expect the vendor to refund my money as I've had the thing for six months....even if it sat on a shelf for 5 and a half of those months. What irritates me is that refurbished items are supposed to undergo extensive testing before being resold on a service like Amazon. In their letter to me they mentioned how the item was tested prior to shipping and passed some type of 21 point inspection, which is clearly not true. The tablet didn't magically develop a back-breaking hardware failure that occurs whenever it gets up to jogging speed while it was sitting on my shelf collecting dust for the past 5 months. It shipped defective and it's laughable to argue that it underwent a reasonable testing regimen, if that regimen somehow failed to pick up a major known issue with the model. To sum it up, don't buy refurbished products from ELECTRORENEWED if you want something you can rely on to actually function. This is the equivalent of getting sold a lemon from a used car lot in the 80s. Amazon shouldn't be doing buisness with them.Update: 24 hours later, the charger has now also stopped working. Unreal.

Mostly Nice product
I have a love/hate relationship with Windows, but I still find it necessary for a few things.. I like the Surface as a tablet, and it works for those things that I must have a PC for. If you're used to an iPad, the Surface will be very heavy, though not uncomfortably so. It has an integrated keyboard for when you have to type, and the touch screen for when you don't. Both work great. The screen is large, with excellent definition and the sound from the tiny speakers in adequate for almost anything short of listening to music. The tablet boots quickly, always seems to find my wifi, and uses face recognition so that I don't have to type my password. The design and use of this tablet are easy, intuitive, and well thought out.My complaints are few. It is expensive--more so than I think it should be. It also comes with a few really annoying programs that microsoft wants you to use, that automatically run when you boot up. I got sick of those and disabled them. It also has Microsoft's annoying habit of updating, whether you want to or not. Eventually, it will update the operating system and the tablet will quit working. I'm sure this is Microsoft's way of getting you to buy an new one.Overall, if you're looking for a good tablet/pc that is portable and works well, I'd consider this one.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4
The Surface Pro 4 seems to work properly for the most part. I have had some issues with the touch screen not working properly at times. I also had an issue with the charger that came with this device. It was a 3rd party charger that seemed to be under powered for the device. If the battery was running down, and I plugged the charger in while trying to use the device, the charger would connect/disconnect constantly. I would have to power the tablet off and wait for it to completely charge before using it again. I went online and purchased a replacement charger elsewhere, and the tablet itself seems to work properly now. Overall it seems to work with the replacement charger, other than some occasional issues with the touchscreen from time to time.

Best Windows Computer I’ve ever had
I’ve owned it now for 6 months. Replaced a Dell 2 in 1, 11” laptop/tablet and the Surface Pro 4, 8/256 G exceeds my expectations. It arrived totally blemish free and the battery charges to 100%. Cannot tell it is refurbished. Set up was a breeze and with the after market pen, Tensenn lighted keyboard and GaN charger and Fintie case this is the ultimate road warrior machine all for under $500. I smile every time I boot it up. I set it up at my local Panera Bread and had several people stop and comment on it. It is amazing you can get one for less than than the price of an iPad and get a full function computer Overall an exceptional buying experience.

The product is great, company not so
Usually, renewed products are just s good as the new item. Buying them on Amazon through a trusted seller has always worked great and saved me money. But not this time. After 2 months the screen started twitching and the warranty provided us with a new one from the seller, but the seller was difficult to work with. I recommend that if you buy renewed from MRP that you buy the extended warranty. My daughter loves this computer when it is working, she loves digital art and can spend hours relaxing creating art on her Surface Pro. We also were able to use a thumb drive to make the computer and Android when needed. So she has a Windows product and an Android product to accomplish all she needs to. The replacement product just arrived today after a month of the company making mistakes in getting us a replacement product (a bit of a joke) but now that it is here, I hope it lasts longer than 2 months. I think I will buy the extended warranty.
