My cat goes crazy for this
When it comes to Rachel Ray Nutrish **dry cat food**, I’ve had a pretty positive experience with it overall, and my cat seems to enjoy it as well. Here’s a breakdown of my thoughts specifically on the dry food version.### **Ingredients and Nutrition**The big draw for me with Rachel Ray Nutrish dry cat food is that it uses real meat as the first ingredient, such as chicken or salmon. I feel good knowing my cat is getting a high-protein diet that supports her muscle and overall health. What’s even better is that it avoids unnecessary fillers like corn, wheat, and soy, which are common in lower-quality cat foods. There are no artificial flavors or preservatives, which is important for my peace of mind. The food also includes added vitamins, minerals, and taurine, which are essential for a cat’s heart health, vision, and immune system. There are some grains like brown rice in the mix, but for my cat, that hasn’t been an issue at all. She seems to digest it well, and I like that the grains they use are whole, not processed.### **Taste and Texture**While I can’t personally comment on the taste (obviously!), my cat really seems to love it. I’ve tried a couple of flavors like the **Real Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe** and the **Salmon & Brown Rice Recipe**, and she devours it quickly. The kibble size is small, which I think is great because it’s easy for her to chew and digest. Plus, the crunchiness of the kibble helps to keep her teeth clean, which is always a bonus for dry food.### **Health Benefits**Since switching to this dry food, I’ve noticed positive changes in my cat’s overall health. Her coat has become shinier, and she’s maintaining a healthy weight without any issues. I’ve also noticed fewer digestive problems—less vomiting and fewer hairballs, which is always a good sign that the food is agreeing with her. She seems to have a lot of energy, and she’s been more playful since making the switch.### **Affordability**Rachel Ray Nutrish dry cat food is reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients you’re getting. It’s a nice balance between premium, high-protein options and more budget-friendly cat food brands. You get a lot of value for your money, especially since it uses real, whole ingredients rather than cheap fillers. Compared to some other brands that offer similar ingredient lists, Nutrish is quite affordable without compromising quality.### **Packaging**The resealable bag is a lifesaver for keeping the food fresh. I don’t have to worry about the food going stale before I can use it all, and the packaging is easy to store in my pantry. The sizes are convenient too—there are smaller bags if you just want to try it out, and larger bags if your cat really likes it and you want to stock up.### **Cons**- **Grain Content**: While my cat has had no issues with the grains in Nutrish, some cats might have sensitivities to grains like brown rice, so it might not be suitable for all felines, particularly if you're looking for a grain-free option. Rachel Ray Nutrish does offer some grain-free options, but the standard dry foods contain grains.- **Limited Options for Special Diets**: If your cat needs a specialized diet, like one for weight management, sensitive stomachs, or specific health issues, the Nutrish line may not have the variety you need. It’s more of a general, wholesome dry food option.### **Final Thoughts**Rachel Ray Nutrish dry cat food has been a hit in my household. My cat enjoys the taste, and I appreciate that it’s made from real, wholesome ingredients. It’s affordable, nutritious, and doesn’t contain any of the artificial junk that you find in some cheaper cat foods. If your cat doesn’t have specific grain sensitivities and you’re looking for a high-quality, budget-friendly dry food option, I’d definitely recommend giving Nutrish a try. It offers a nice balance of quality and value, and it’s worked well for my cat’s health and happiness.

Great Value
Have an outside cat that has been hanging around for quite some time. Beautiful chocolate colored Siamese. Not sure she belongs to someone or not very skittish, can't get near her. However, she always eats her food with great enthusiasm so probably no one is feeding her on a regular basis just whatever she can find most likely. Anyway, I am a cat lover and hate to see one in need so the least I can do is make sure she is fed and watered. She likes this food very much; it smells good to me so probably is very tasty to her. Only complaint the bag was not sealed at all, did not spill out though so I am OK with that so long as the food is fresh. Will continue to purchase this brand of cat food and it is healthy cat food or at least appears to be. I try to make sure I get nothing that has that carrageenan junk in it.

The cat's meow?
A miracle?Just received this today and the most a- mazing thing happened. Her Highness watched me pull the bag from the box came over sniffed it and started meowing and pawing. She's never ever has shown this kind of interest in a freaking bag of food. So I asked if she wanted to taste it ( another meow,) then took out a handful and placed in front of her...no sniffing just rapid gobbling 😲. Tried to fill her bowl with her regular food which was rapidly turned over. As y'all know how quick that bowl was emptied 😻 Need to say there's something that's the cat's meow in this food. I highly recommend this if you have a picky eater.

Huge Vet Bill After Cat Ate This
1500 dollars at the vet and we find out that the reason my cat has throat ulcers and infected gums was because of this food. He has some sort of sensitivity to something in it. Cultures and biopsy were negative for illnesses. Blood work showed infection. We took this food away and gave medication, and he got better. Then I introduced the food again and two days later he was sick with the same symptoms! We gave medication again and took the food away. He got better. This time I went back to Blue Buffalo duck. It's been a month and he's fine! I wanted to like this food because it's cheap and the ingredients seem ok but there is obviously somthing in it that made my cat sick!
